Record: 16-1 (+29.9 Units)

THESE BETS ARE AVAILABLE AT BETWWTS.com

TAKING Harry ****** UNDER 90.42M (1 unit)
+165
100 to win 165

TAKING Harry ****** UNDER 100M (1 unit)
-215
215 to win 100

These plays are only one unit as that is all you can bet now. They offered these with up to 600 early in the week. But I wouldn't have posted this if they still had that kind of limit. I want them to keep posting movie bets and with too big a loss they might not post any more bets in the future.

All the best - lakerfan

You really do kick ass when it comes to your movie picks. That record of your's just keeps becoming more & more impressive. Both of those picks look good to me from my uneducated point of view. The 2nd Harry ****** feature making that much in early November seems pretty unlikely.

You can still get the under 90.42M for +135 at WWTS. I got it at +215 and I think I posted it here at +160.

Obviously this is two books or at least two different groups of bettors with different opinions. I think they are both wrong (WWTS giving too much credit to the over and Intertops to the under. I wouldn't touch -400 (I now see it is -333) on the under 90M. I still think the under at +135 has value at WWTS. Plus with WWTS you can get down for more. Intertops will only give you $55 /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif . I guess the only thing to say to that is at least they are offering the bet for purely recreational purposes (that is worth something).

What is your prediction on Harry ******'s weekend numbers? I think there's a high chance of it going over 82.5 M with 3,682 screen openings. I got on this over at wsex. Let's hope it's between 82.5 and 90. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I am still betting this movie. So I will be a little vauge. But I think it could do between 70 and 100M. Might not help you much, take it for what it is worth.

HARRY ****** 28.844

Both of our WWTS bets are looking very good. With this number I think Harry ****** will be right around 80M. Depending on if this number is a little low or high the range would likely be 85M to 73M for the weekend.

$28 Million

looks good lakerfan - but then again - when it comes to movie props - you are the best - and it shouldn't have taken this one to convince anyone.

(For reference this number is put out by the studio and is based on Saturday and Friday "almost" actual numbers plus a projection for Sunday)

Harry ****** 87M
Half Past Dead 8.2M

Well it is going to be closer than I thought as Harry ****** 2 was less frontloaded than the first (which I expected, but not by this much). I think we should still be ok on our bet, but we will have to wait until Monday afternoon to know for sure.

winkyduck - thank you for the kind words.

Actuals for the weekend ended up at 88.36M. In terms of percentage this win was very close, but I will take it.

SOG - glad to see that your over came in.

Since it was 2 bets but only 1 movie I will just count it as one win for the record.

Updated record: 17-1 (+32.55 Units)

Just curious man, but what is your favorite film? Personally, I enjoyed every film directed by Scorsese, or starring Robert De Niro.

sphincter - got you answered via email.

FatFrank - I can't hold a grudge. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Am glad you are back posting here and and at MW. I enjoy reading your posts. Thanks.

Son of a Gun - Scorsese is good, although I am not as big of fan as some. I personally really enjoyed Goodfellas (I am not as big as some are on his early movies like Taxi Driver,Mean Streets, etc and his recent work hasn't had enough story for me like Kundum (tibet pic), Brining Out the Dead (I think that is the title, his ambulance movie with Cage)).

I will have to get back to you on other favorites when I have a bit more time and have thought about it. Off the top of my head I really can't even give you a favorite film. I know for a long time I thought Schindler's List was in my opinion one of the best, but I haven't revisited my thinking on this in quite a while(what can I say, I am sucker for a Holocaust films, also really liked Life Is Beautiful). I also really like Sodenborg (spelling wrong) with Traffic and Out of Sight being a couple of my favorites.

I have seen so many movies in my life it is almost unreal, but lately I am lucky to see a movie a week (I guess I don't have the time I used to).
