other than Olympic, does someone know who takes weekend box office bets and what the limits are?

WSEX.com is the only other regular. They have $300 limits, but most people can bet again and again as the line moves.

what do you like?......i saw a box office site that predicted 30 mill this weekend for analyze that.....doesn`t that seem a little much?.....ac or laker ?

Everyone is on the UNDER at 22 or 21M for analyze that BIG. I would lean towards the over, but lately "everyone" - the people betting the chalk - has been right. So I would tread lightly.

Anyone have thoughts on Empire for 4.5 mil? Under for me is real tempting with the movie only opening in 860 screens...

Maid in Manhattan's tracking is improving. I was going to do a prop bet at oly on analyze that to do 6 million better than Maid in their opening weekends. i do think analyze that will easily go over 21 million. should do 8-10 frid and sat.

i wouldn't touch the empire bet. probably will do less than 5 million. i think they are promoting this a little bit in urban markets and it might just inch over 5 mill. could do as much as 8. if it tanks though, it won't do more than 2.5 million.

Sucks to be us! Analyze is bombing...took in just around 4 mil on Friday, which means it'll probably top off at around 10 million or so. I, too, took the OVER 20 mil bet, and the UNDER on Empire...and THAT little s--t is doing well in only 800 theaters!

late tv buy on friday for empire as well as heavy urban radio promo. street teams. this will go over 5 million. universal had something to prove with the first release from the latino label Arenas.
