had a contract to buy a brand new 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Naples, FL for $119,900 in 2001 in a community with a simulated wave pool, 2 pools, parks, etc. etc.

passed on it. Today that sucker is worth 3/4 million.

Rode all my stocks down during the last big crash and got wiped out. Had a stock that went from 10 bucks to over 200 and then watched it go to a penny stock. Never thought it could happen, just watched them all lose money everyday, until most went bankrupt. Still have nightmares of my stupidity.

its was over 50k i let slip away.

not buying real estate in Las Vegas years ago.

At least it looks that way now.

Bought 1000 shares of MTEX @ $1.98 while in college. Was planning on keeping it in there at least 5 years.

8 months later I had unexpected car trouble and sold all 1000 shares at $2.04 to help pay for the repairs.

It hit $21.00 a year later.
