Lucent (LU)

I have about 1000 shares of Lucent and have no clue what to do w/ it. I have about half of it at $2.50/share and half at $3.10. So, I'm in for about $2.80/average/share.....plus the transaction fee (on both ends) of about $20 (Schwab).

Any info/advice?

I'm holding my LU thinking that it will go up in the 4th qtr and into 2006.

Several good stock guys (Jim Cramer for one) are huge on this stock long-term.

Just my 2cents.

Unless you have something else to invest in, hold on to it. Has an upside, but will take patience.

Cramer called LU a hold when it was around 3.00-3.05...but even after they missed the target on 3rd Q earnings he remained that he would hold it saying 4th Q numbers look better...

Passed up by Nortel now after its earnings release.

I have a few shares of NT, which did hit 7 a while back. Lesson learned.

I would hold these shares for today a very nice up move in a down market.
