just in case i am not around for an opinion. i like rahman at the price against toney plus under and see value in judah at a big price and over. but the way i am going it is buyer beware.

I agree with you on Rahman. Myself and go2guy were talking about the value during last weekends fights. Got a piece at +185 at Pinny.

labeeb i will never take a grossly overweight natural middleweight against a true top heavyweight. of course that didn't help against ruiz, holyfield or guinn.

I played Rahman as well, unfortunately I took the opener +165

Also played Toney by 12 round decision +156

This fight could go either way, but I can't see Toney stopping Rahman

boxlox these heavyweights are sometimes in such bad shape that they can be stopped on exhaustion if nothing else. or lack of heart. nothing surprises me anymore.

I hear ya Hilo

In this case I think its Toney's weight that could be a problem. He looked overweight last week on "the best damn fight night" and I saw recent sprarring videos that made his arms look extremely flabby.

Obviously Rahman also has the tendancy to undertrain and come in overweight, but I don't think he'll do that in this spot. When Rahman is motivated and puts his time in at the gym, he's very dangerous.

My final plays on this fight won't come untill the weigh-in as that will tell us everything. But right now I have plays on Toney by decision +156 and Rahman +165. Depending on the weigh-in, I could buy back one or both of those plays.

Rahmans 5" height advantage along with the longer reach will play a big role in the fight. And his huge right hand is the X factor, could end the fight with one shot.

Just read a Rahman interview, he's extremely motivated

Says he will weigh between 235 and 240

He weighed 232 against Meehan and 236 against Barrett in his last two fights

I am going out on a limb and picking Rahman by decision. I'm thinking about the jab clinic he put on Tua. I also think he might put Toney down but not be able to finish him off. Toney is as tough as he is slick. I'm just a little worried about how Rahman always finds a way to lose big fights.

From fightnews...

"I'm going to get him on Saturday. I didn't forget about Cancun, I never forget," Toney (69-4-2, 43 KO's) told the media in reference to his brawl with Rahman in a Mexico hotel at a WBC event a few months back. "It doesn't matter how much I weigh - James Toney can fight," explained Toney who will likely enter the ring in the 250-lb. range. "You know what a bowling ball does - it knocks down pins. And that's what I do, I knock down fighters. You've never seen a heavyweight move like me." Toney said he feels Rahman is his most serious challenge in the division though he also said he's not expecting any serious trouble on Saturday night. "Experience to me don't mean nothing. Everyone says Hasim Rahman is a big dude; everyone I fight is a big dude. If you don't got heart and determination you don't belong in the game." Although he later backed off his comments about Rahman's heart and courage, he did call "Rock" an "average Joe."

I think Toney could be in big trouble
