hey deuce-deuce, wow another nascar fan who doesnt have jeffy or jimmy in his wager!!!,....and a couple tony wagers to boot,....well im rootin4ya,...............in fact whenever jeffy wrecks his little car, it makes my day,..........................i41would love to see a nascar thread,....i do think it is warrented,....of course usually when i am pushin for a nascar thread i am 33 sheets to the wind,....but i do think it would be fine for a nascar thread,....i mean damn i am getting tired of people saying it is the fastest growing sport in america,......heck i been following it since i was 15,....................at some point you would think it would have to break through and become one of the main sports:modemman:

Is this a bad beat? If you have T. Stewart(2nd) over another driver(10th)
and Biffle to win(1st, led whole race) and 23 laps to go, and neither car finishes the race................... both wagers lose.

Bad mistake picking Biffle, A few races back when I heard them say he didn't go through with the second round of practice because the crew chief was worried about putting too many miles on the engine, next day he blew up with twelve laps to go leading the race.
This tells me his engine is tweaked for maximium power at the expense of longevity, almost always a recipe for disaster.
In Nascar Capping what the crew chief says or doesnt say is huge.
I had Stewart over Gordon so I made out, you really need to check matchups at other books some just dont have a clue others are sharp as a tack with these. plus bristol, darlington are brutal to cap.
A truly bad beat is in a matchup both cars go out in the same wreck and the official scorer puts your driver last.
Just remember Nascar is the toughest sport to cap but the odds make it great when you hit that 25 to 1 shot winning on the last lap!!!!!
Bigdong, Good to see another Nascar fan on here

YOU SERIOUSLY THINK NASCAR IS THE TOUGHEST SPORT TO CAP???
I SAY ITS BY FAR THE EASIEST!
I AM MEDIOCRE AT BEST ON CAPPING BBALL AND FOOTBALL.....BUT NASCAR HAS MADE ME MAJOR CASH EACH OF THE LAST 3 SEASONS!
AS YOU KNOW, THE BEST CAR DOESNT ALWAYS WIN....THIS YEAR IVE PICKED 2 OF THE 5 RACES (OTHER 3 I HAD THE BEST CAR PICKED, BUT HAD TIRE/ENGINE TROUBLE AT THE END) AND UP MAJOR MONEY.....
ILL POST MY PLAYS ON NASCAR EACH WEEK. IM NEW TO THE BOARD, BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO GIVING YOU ALL SOME GOOD PLAYS!

Busch with the win, Harvick looked very strong as well, and Labonte was top 5. Only the longshot Schrader was an "also ran".
I'm trying to get the hang of this Nascar thing and have picked up on a few things so far. But I am far from an expert in this field.

When I say its the toughest sport to Cap, I mean that more things influence a Cup Race than any other sport thats why the odds are so good even the favorites are rarely below +200.
Looking forward to your picks..

hey green doberman and deuce,....not a bad day at bristol ha?,....well kurt won,..yeah proballt took even more flack than what he had to begin with,....for some reason i actually root/like the guy and it doesnt bother me a bit that he raced(yeah bumped and run,..or whatever else people want to call it),....i mean when it comes down towards the end of a race,...shouldnt they do what they got to do within reason?,...i mean if they just follow each other around the track and get out of their car at the end and thank everyone for racing clean,....well who the heck wants to root for the warm and fuzzy drivers.........kurt like him or hate him,...really seems to be able to race a car,....................well on with the highlight of the race,......jeffy,...........jeffy spun his little car out,....and then on top of that he got his big girl panties in a bind,........did ya see him hop out of his little car(with his intimidating helmet still on and shove matt kenseth?,.......oh that stuff is priceless),..................well hey good luck on martinsville this week!!!:modemman:

Think Hamlin Will Win This Week? I See Him Winnig 1 Race Or More This Year But Probably Not This One Starting At The Back Of The Field. Odds Have Already Dropped On Him From 80-1 Odds On Races At The Beging Of The Year Now Down To 40-1 Or So Every Week. Heck Of A Payday If He Does Win well worth risking 25-50$ A Week On

i would say that martinsville would be his best shot....he has raced this place than most veterans
he grew up on this type of track racing late model cars....he knows how to drive it
didnt qualify well though....
hopefully he can use some pit strategy to get him towards the front, then race himself to a win
i have a 100 to win 4,000......im certainly rooting for him!
check out my post on the Direc TV 500 posting....thats what im doing this week

best of luck to you!

Well guys I'm looking for Martin to do well to keep me up in the standings on my fantasy racing. Check this out SBG has his odds at 12-1 and The Greek has him at 40-1. Now that's a really big difference. I hope SBG is right. BOL to all. Agree with duce-duce need seperate one for racing.

ARE YOU FORCED TO TAKE MARTIN, OR DO YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS? THERE ARE 5-6 DRIVERS I WOULD TAKE BEFORE HIM
