Be careful betting on Thompson. Thompson has been knocked out and Boone put down Andre Ward.

Boxlocks, I saw you have a small play on Liakhovich by decision. Any value on a small wager that the fight will go 8.5? Thanks. Looking forward to your thoughts on next week's big one. GL.

I don't think so...not at -125 anyway
Lyakhovich is very similar to Golata and he has been stopped before. It wouldn't surprise me if Brewster goes for the early KO like he did vs Golata, it worked out well for him. Like Golata, Lyakhovich doesn't have one punch ko power to keep Brew off of him. It will be interesting to see how Lyak reacts and responds to the onslaught that will definitly come his way at some point in the fight. Brewster showed that his power carries into the later rounds with an 9th round stoppage of Krasniqi in his last fight.
However
Brewster's not much of a boxer, and his workrate is very low most of the time. When he's not on the attack, he's not doing anything. The guy was outboxed by Kali Mehan for 12 rounds but the King factor kicked in for the bogus SD win. Brewster was losing on all cards to Krasniqi before his power bailed him out late. And Brew got the sh*t kicked out of him for 5 rounds before W.Klit fell over from exhaustion.
Which leads me to my next point
Brewster has a world class chin, one of the best in the game, he gets rocked every once in a while but always comes back. The beating he took from Klitschko was absolutely brutal, but he survived and came back.
Lyakhovich won't stop Brewster, but he has a much higher work rate, he's 3" taller and longer, and he's a more skilled boxer than Brew. If he can weather the storm, he could easily outbox Brew, and he's a King fighter so he could win even if he loses.
And thats why I played Lyakhovich by 12 round decision at +710
Sphincter got it at +865
