Hey guys, I'll get the NASCAR action rolling for the week...
Posting picks from another user at my site, here is his record for the season (documented at my forum), all plays for 1 unit.

Qualifying Matchups: 5-4 +2.55 Units
Poll Winners: 2-2 +22.8 Units
Race Matchups: 55-33 +16.59 Units
Race Winners: 5-29 +45.5 Units
Over/Unders: 30-13 +13.55 Units
Top 5: 5-9 +9.00 Units

Total: +109.99 Units (unweighted)

For this week:

guforum - "Posting picks from another user at my site, here is his record for the season (documented at my forum), all plays for 1 unit."

Looked in at your forum earlier today - don't see anything posted this week for Lowe's.

Also don't see the record posted you refer to in the previous posts.

It's important to note that most of the plays given in previous Nascar threads at your site are at WagerWeb, which is a scam book.

If someone wins at Wagerweb, they renege on paying bonuses. They also lower limits to ridiculous maximums.

I see that one of the Nascar cappers in your forum has already stated that he has a $20 limit at Wagerweb.

Winning a few units at $20 per is not what many of us are looking for.

Some books deal dual lines - they have a sucker's line, and a regular line.
It is possible to have an excellent record betting numbers on the suckers line.
Unfortunately, as soon as one wins, they start dealing the regular line.
So a huge winning record betting the sucker's line is not very meaningful.

Likewise, a winning record at Wagerweb with $20 bets is not very meaningful.

A real world record would be much more meaningful.

I wonder what the "documented" record you refer to would be without Wagerweb bets?

I'm not knocking you for bringing Nascar insight to this forum - I'm in favor of it, and I thank you for it.
But I think it's important to be realistic about records also.

A further thought on the capper's record you post -

does a "unit" = $20?

Biffle 8-1 3 units
Kenseth 9-1 2 units

Scooter, What's up man? The capper at GUFORUM is Train. He's an excellent capper and having a great year, but you are right. Like myself, his limits were cut to $20 at wagerweb. So what he is doing is posting wagerweb picks that he isn't playing for real money and adding them to his year to date totals. I think it's cool to post wagerweb winners for others to bet, just don't add them to YTD totals. That's my opinion. Anyway, Scooter, July will be 2 years living off bankroll only. I've had a crazy year so far, but still kicking the books ass!!! Take care man!

Btw, I like the 5, 24, 29, 9 and 48 this week. Watch out for the 5 car.

Heartman - Good to hear from you.

Heartman - "I think it's cool to post wagerweb winners for others to bet, just don't add them to YTD totals."

I agree.

I assume if he is adding them to his YTD, that he's keeping the units won accurate - e.g., if his base unit is $500, and he wins $20 at Wagerweb, that he counts that as 0.04 unit.
But it would be artificially inflating his "Bets Won" total.

Too funny Scooter. Wagerweb is a scam book, that is funny. Anyone that rolls any money out at sports betting at all knows there is ways around having your action limited.

The important thing about Train is that he wins, show me someone who wins at the rate he does.

Give me a break with the ignorant comments will ya?

First off from what I have gathered from Train he bets at over 50 books and Wagerweb is not the only book to place Nascar wagers.

Secondly Train is not a paid poster or Mod at our site he is just a member who shares his expertise for the betterment of the community, he gains nothing from posting so don't accuse him of inflating his record, it just sounds dumb.

Do yourself a favor and bet his action.

Obviously both Train as well as Heartman haven't discovered those ways, as they've both posted that their limit is $20.

If you look at my 1st post in this thread, I stated "I'm not knocking you for bringing Nascar insight to this forum - I'm in favor of it, and I thank you for it."

The point of my post wasn't to knock your website nor the input.
I was pointing out that a decent number of plays are at (or appear to be at) Wagerweb, which takes measures against winners, such as limiting them to $20 bets.

The majority of Trains profit has been from Race winners, which are widely available lines. He posted line for WagerWeb because we were actively promoting the book at the time, and they did have soft lines. I can assure you he is not a $20 bettor. Here are the rest of his outrights for the week:

Khane +1250 (good to +1000)
Mears +6000 (Good to +4000)
Stewart +1600 (good to +1200)
Kenseth +1100 (added earlier this week good to +800)

I wont count this as an offical play cause I dont think anyone can find it, but my buddy found a 7-1 no Jimmie Johnson in vegas, Id say anything 6-1 or better is good enough to play.

No value at all online, hes extremely overrated this week. Most books opened him at 4-1 and donkeys are still throwing money at it.

Also, his record is in the Experts Arena.
