The 20-year anniversary celebration of SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING continues in spectacular fashion on Saturday, Sept. 2, when WBC #2 heavyweight James "Lights Out" Toney (69-4-2, 43 KOs) faces WBC #3 Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter (26-1, 22 KOs) on SHOWTIME (10 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast). The 12-round bout will be a WBC elimination for the #1 spot and take place at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. It is co-promoted by Goossen Tutor Promotions and Duva Boxing.
