i've gotta be the first to say early tyson. he was no sweet science of boxing, but to be the heavyweight champion of the world at 20 years of age in the fashion he dominated made him one bad mofo.

Oh man do I hear that! I can't stand the guy even though he has over hauled his image the last 3 or 4 years.

As far as Tyson goes he never fought anyone in his prime so we will never know how great he could have been BUT no doubt he was awesome to watch.

My favs now are:

Miguel Cotto: I might actually root for Arturo to beat Baldomir to set up a December/January Cotto-Gatti fight.

Winky Wright: although, I'm still disappointed with his 3rd-grade girl temper tantrum after the Taylor fight.

Diego Corrales: Apparently he's just waiting around for a fight. He said on FNF that he wasn't impressed by Cassamayor, but that's the logical fight (end the triology) before moving up to 140.

My favs in the past:

Mike Tyson: he was the champ when I first started watching boxing with my dad, and he was bad ass.

Pernell Whitaker: embodied the sweet science. I was disappointed when Trinidad kicked his ass.

Yeah, I was pulling for Mayorga in that one. Didn't bet it though thankfully since De La Hoya made Mayorga look like an amature in that one.

What is all this talk about Tyson?? Fvckin guy never fought anyone
good and when he did he lost? Never understood the big deal with
him. His video game on the 8-Bit Nintendo was bomb though..
