Haha well we'd be happy to have ya. I'd try and join before Sunday though just to ensure you get a spot. It only takes a couple seconds to register if you already have a registered Yahoo username. If not, that's easy to create as well.

I've seen people with no knowledge of football, much less knowledge of fantasy football, win leagues from sheer luck so don't count anything out. It doesn't happen all the time but it definitely happens.

Dang, I just realized something, jakethompson.

I did joined this free league that you provided-- as it'd be fun to hang around with the RXers. Though, the live draft being Sunday the 19th at 8:30pm EDT--- I'm out as I'd be still at Las Vegas after the mini-bash (my flight is a red-eye one leaving Sunday night). I don't get back to the East Coast until Monday morning.

Would the live draft be done automatically for those who are absent based on "computerized settings"? I don't think I remember the 1 time I did Yahoo Fantasy Football years ago... 1999 or so. So I'm practically a rookie with Yahoo's settings. I play one fantasy league with friends/acquaintances with a live draft (live as in person, not online) so I want to know if I am screwed if I can't be online at 8:30pm EDT/5:30pm EDT this coming Sunday?

If so, I can delete my new team, "CalvinTy Ironbirds", and let the spot be taken by someone else. No biggie.

Yeah, the computer will pick for you. You can set your player rankings beforehand, so the computer will pick the highest available player on your list, instead of the default list.

LIke goodcall said, the computer can pick for you if you are absent. What I'd recommend is to rank your players before the draft so they are picked according to your rankings because sometimes Yahoo rankings are a little wacky. Good luck this year.

Tony G and Clark are advantage Tony G. Graham and Gore are pretty much even since Graham is going off and Gore is struggling but I'll call it advantage Gore. Palmer and Wayne are even as well. Not sure why you think that deal is so unfair.

Like it or not, Chatman is a #2 RB with Brown out for the year...

White is a downgrade at WR for me and then I get junk. Palmer is a #1 QB and Graham has had two monster games... you can't expect Reggie Wayne (who hasn't put up big numbers even with Harrison out) to be enough to get those guys...

What else ya got in mind? I have no use for Roddy White or Dwayne Bowe... they don't upgrade my WR position, which is what I need.

Top 70 WRs aren't worth giving up Carson Palmer for though... top 10 WRs are, which is what I'd put Wayne in.

Every week, me and my roomies watch football. It's a house full of Niner and Colts fans. That is the main reason I want Wayne, Clark, and Gore from you...

Plus you could definitely use a QB since yours kinda suck... don't get me wrong you are killing the league and all, but you need an upgrade at QB.

Palmer and Wayne are pretty close. Tony G and Clark are pretty close. IMO, Gore and Graham are pretty close since Gore has had big issues running the ball this year.

What about Carson Palmer, Jerricho Cotchery, and Jesse Chatman for Reggie Wayne and Frank Gore? Chatman has some easy games coming up and is averaging like 7 yards a carry his last 2 games. That is why I'm weary to trade him now, because he'll be getting a ton of looks in the upcoming weeks...
