Who are people taking with the 5th pick?

Assuming it goes LT, Jackson.

If these guys are available, who are you taking..? (my order listed)

LJ
Gore
Addai
Alexander
Westbrooke
Parker

Also, I could go the QB route and take manning an hope to get 2 quality RB's with my 2nd and 3rd pick.

Its a 10 team league, and TDs are 6 pts for passing and rushing. 25 yrds passing =1 pt, vs 10 yrds rushing 1 pt.

If LJ is available at 5 and you don't take him you deserve to lose in you're a fool.

6 pts for passing TD makes things interesting.

I agree... LJ is an absolute no brainer at #5.

Addai or Gore over LJ in my opinion.

Addai blow IMO... he's just lucky he's the lone man this year.

Addai blow IMO... he's just lucky he's the lone man this year.

He's a talented runner AND pass receiver playing in football's best offense and doesn't have to split carries. He'll be a top 5 fantasy player.

1. Tomlinson
2. Steven Jackson
3. Joseph Addai
4. Frank Gore
5. Portis, Brandon Jacobs, or Shaun Alexander.

Those aren't RB rankings, those are top 5 overall fantasy rankings.

jacobs is a good five pick. no way in hell lj is still around at five unless your in a league with my sister and her dumbass friends. keep in mind there is still plenty left in willie parker.

Parker should put up good stats in a run-first offense with a nice O line. I just don't think Larry Johnson is going to see nearly as much success as in previous years because the guys who open up holes for him are not that impressive this year. I see a season comparable to Willis McGahee last year.

Not if passing td's are worth as much as rushing td's. I would take Manning at 1.5 with this scoring.
