I just got assigned #3 pick. I know LT and Jackson go the first two. Throwing for a TD is the same as a rushing TD in this league. I am gun shy on Larry Johnson. Can I get some much needed help on this tough pick?

I like Gore or Addai, not Alexander or LJ.

About a week ago I would have taken Gore with the #3 hands down. Now I'm not so sure and I have been really thinking that Addai is going to have a monster year and if I get the #3 in my upcoming draft I may take him. I think it is the most difficult pick in the draft this year.

I really don't get why everybody is down on L.J. this year. Let's say the guy has a bad year. Thats probably 1300 to 1400 yards and 15 or so TD's. Those numbers are if he really takes a dip from the past 2 years and those numbers would still put him top 5 RB. So if he has a bad year he's still a top 5 back. I'll take him at #3 everytime. Do people really think he's going to fall off the map because he carried the ball 50 more times (4 times a game) than L.T. and S. jackson.

I'm not so much down on Johnson as I am on KC's O-line. They weren't very good in 06 and losing Shields is only going to make things more difficult for 07. Time will tell but if that line can't get it's shit together than it's going to be tough for LJ to replicate his prior seasons numbers.

Addai or Gore. I think Addai is going to be more valuable but may take Gore first anyway and then work a trade later. You really can't go wrong with either.
Like has been said... KC's OLine is not going to open up holes of pass protect well this year. KC's RBs in the past have gained huge yardage thanks to those huge holes... He'll still see the ball a ton, I just don't think he does that well.

LJ or SA in my opinion. LJ is never a bad pick, and Alexander is feeling better than ever right now. Plus playing the NFC West defenses is always a positive.

I dont get why people are so down on him? I know he was hurt and all but fuck Alexander is a beast when healthy and hes back healthy so I think he will vault right back into the top 3 or so rb's...

Alexander is a weird dude and there have always been questions about his heart. He turned 30 last week and RBs don't just fade, they fall of the cliff when they hit 30. Hutchinson is gone and Alexander's YPC was 1 yard lower than his career average last season without him. While Alexander had good years in 01, 02 and 03, his 2 monster seasons came when he was playing for a contract, he now has that contract and if you watched him run last year, he wasn't running the same as he was in 04 and 05. He reverted to running out of bounds and avoiding contact.
Just my .02 as to why I drafted Willie f*ing Parker and Joseph Addai ahead of him in two different leagues.
