Well this week is a weird one, I wish I had faith in Printers getting into the end zone cause then I would have hammered Ti-cats at home. BC on the road faved by 10 in Edmonton, hmmmm...... Toronto and Montreal line is right, kind of leaning towards Montreal as I think either team will win by 3 and it will a last minute drive. Anyway's with the sides out of the way I will get into the only play that stands out right now. Today there is 30 mph wind in Edmonton, of course it is way to early to get an idea of what the weather will be like on Saturday. Bottom line is, Edmonton with Ray scored a mere 16 points against Montreal, granted Ray got injured but tey only mustered 11 points at home against the Argo's and in Toronto, we all know what happened there putting up 8 points for the game. What will happen against either #1 or #2, up for a great debate defense in the CFL. I also think BC will score but not at will. Expect the Eskies to come out fired up at home stopping the Lions once in a while. If the weather is bad, expect a ton of Smith and Ebell. I will take this early cause no one in thier right mind can bet the over after seeing what Lefors has to offer. :toast:

Good luck KC. Talking about winds we're going to get up to 100 kph on Vancouver Island and 50-70 kph on the mainland tonight. I'm going to wait and see on BC/Edm game. I feel BC can cover the 9.5 but was hoping to get 7/7.5 but there were no really juicy lines this week.

I did take Toronto-4 as I feel Bishop will get the job done at home. I wasn't impressed by Montreal's 8 point win yesterday hosting Hamilton. You're right that if Printer's receivers had got more in the end zone it could be very different.

I guess the remaining question is whether Henry Burris will play. I suppose when the lines come out they will tell the story.

hey everyone this game starts at 1pm Alberta time on Saturday, which is 12pm pst and 3pm est. that should have an effect on the game as both teams will be off their body clocks.

Looks like the weather will be perfect.

BOL- I like the under as well - Lefors should throw some more picks and the edmonton defense has played well the last 4 weeks

Colton, I just don't know which AC will show up. Also he needs help from his defense. Argo's at home are not an easy team to play. I still got a feeling this will be a close game with all of the playoff implications but got no real feel to lay lumber on it. If I wanted to throw $500 on something just to get a play it, I would put more on my under play opposed to Montreal at +6. If it reaches 7, I will think about it. The minute it hits +7.5, I will have a bet on Montreal. Good luck this week.

Why are you betting on ProLine? Don't you know that being mandated to do 3-team-minimum) parlay wagers are losing propositions? Get yourself an online book where you can bet just the Under in this game!

Ha, ha,ha, you guys kill me. Thanks for your advice ThreeUnits but I have 3 separate sportsbooks and use them all the time. The fact is, at this time I can get better numbers from the proline sheet than I can at the book and I also prefer 2 and 3-team parlays. Don't get me wrong now, I do play singles as well but at this time I am ready to roll with a parlay.

Sprinky and all,Sorry dudes, I am on the road and was out of town yesterday all day and night, not even watching the game :( sprinky, yes I would still bet at 46.5 as most books had 46 or so close to kick off so you would still be getting a half point value. I know it is 6-0 going into the 2nd quarter and if you guys can update me on any scores or big plays in here, that would be greatly appreciated. I wrote this long as reply and I see nothing. I am on my blackberry and was out of town yesterday and on the road heading back home now. Sprinky, sorry I could not respond but at 46.5 I think I would have still taken the under as I saw some 46 totals before kick off so you still had value at 46.5. Obviously I would rather get 47.5 but if I had to bet, I would still take 46.5. I know it is 6-0 at the end of 1st qrt. Anyone have an update and what is your opinion on the game so far? Any turnovers? How are the defesnes playing? Let me know something, thanks all.

Bc is slipping and sliding all over the place. they need to get the cleats figured out or they might end up losing. I doubt wally will give JJ the hook, he will let thim work it out.

Edmonton defense playing well......thier offense is solid when running and they have converted lots of second downs. They just can't socre TD'S

If the ball is not run out of the end zone the offense is given a single point.

they can alos get a point off punt as well.

Although 2 weeks ago I saw a team not get a point on kikc off that went through the end zone. Can anyone confirm this? No singles for Kick off's?

Edmonton +6 is nice line.

I just logged in to the forum minutes ago and began to scroll down the page reading about how the under hit but that it was very close to going over. So I started thinking that maybe the under 47.5 hit (KC's #) but that the final score totalled 47 points right on the nose. Of course my number on proline is resting at 46.5 and I immediately began to think the worst but was certainly relieved when I checked the CFL scoreboard to see the final total for the game at 42 points. Shocker, I did not bet at opener, if I did the total would have been like 44. I waited cause no one else was on it and it released to all books and I spread out the money. 1.5 point movement at 6 books is a big move in a total for CFL. Hope you got in on some. Good luck this week!!
