No offense either, but I second that comment AFLGuru. However he isn't the only one that does that, as I've seen off and on around the various forums and I absolutely hate it because the purpose of these forums, I thought, is to help one another win money and these actions are simply meaningless. Sure the person wins himeself and good for him, but who the fuck cares about the fact when he posts his victory following the outcome without having offered his selection up for the benefit of other members to ponder.

Geeze... I don't use this forum as a place to plunder picks from other people. There's nothing wrong with that (seriously, I'm not trying to be sarcastic), but for those of us that are trying to better ourselves as handicappers, trying to get discussion going of games, somebody coming on here and posting at the last second is totally useless to the forum. I'm not saying that nobody is going to benefit and find some winners, but it does the mass majority no good. It's under the old, "Give a man a fish, he eats for the day, but teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime" adage.

AFLGuru, I don't mean to sound argumentative but typically Soprano doesn't include write-ups in his posts. If he were to post his pick 1/2 hour before gametime we wouldn't get much discussion so I don't know if posting 3 minutes before gametime would be much of a difference.

Some posters prefer not to discuss why they make a certain pick. If others were hoping to learn his reasons I'm not sure if you would get much discussion. I don't mean to criticize Soprano. That's his choice.

Point taken I did post my first one in plenty of time. Sometimes you just need a bit of more time to unload some plays.
