This one is easy. Glenn goes down, Sask stands up on both sides of the ball. Ummmmm, the most glaring part:
Sask -9 :monsters-
Official Play:
Sask -9 (50 units)

seems pretty straight forward but I thought 9 was fair, imo the 12 available now is too high. Winnipeg's backup looked promising and I just can't see a blowout here.
gl though, you're locked in a great position.

Park,
I have seen Dinwiddle play every game he has been put in (in the last 2 years), he is terrible. Sask shut down the most potent offense in the league against the Lions and not to mention, shut down TD leader Burris completely. The Riders are playing on another level and will come out gunning. No way in hell I would even think about betting the Bombers unless I was given 15 points or so hoping their defense can score and the only thing that would influenece that play would be my middle. Good luck whatever you decide, and you have a great point, regardless of what the situation is, I have great position with a great number. Cheers!! :toast:

HH, I love the under with Glenn out and the way these defenses are playing. Also CFL playoffs tend to tighten up on defense and this year the trend is that way as well. I think there was tons of value when the 52 was out there with the opener, my eye was so stuck on -9 knowing I will be able to get a middle I slept on the under and now it is 49 to 49.5 at most shops. I think it will only go down so I would jump on 49.5 if I liked the under. Cheers!! :toast:

I honestly like anything under 13 but that is my personal preference. The games I have seen Dinwiddle play in, he looked horrid. I think he did okay filling in for Glenn but they had a lead and Toronto mustered only 1 point so I think I could have closed that game out. I think Joseph and the Riders come out gunning, you can find -11 out there at Pinnacle right now. Good luck whatever you decide!! :toast:

I did like your play at 8.5 or 9, but I think the line is starting to get out of hand here. Considering these facts...
1) Winnipeg has by far the better running game
2) Winnipeg has the better wide receivers
3) Dinwiddie will get a whole week where there is no question he will be the focal point of the coaching staff, as they try and get him to a point where he can distribute the ball to the talent he has around him.
What do you think King?
I'm with ya in judging Dinwiddie's performance thus far, but he will be more prepared than anytime in his career. I also can't help thinking that the person who wants this game more than anyone is probably Milt Stegall...
Personally, i'll probably stay away from the spread, and stick to the under.

Buck, truth is I don't know what to expect from Dinwiddle. Think of it this way, BC Lions have the best running attack in the game and I could argue that their passing attack the in game, Calgary has the league leader TD passer in Burris and both of them got shut down. With Winnipeg's potent offense, they have struggled of late with their starting QB to score points. Sask defense is playing on another level that is built for a blowout IMO. Even my friend that works at Pinnacle is telling me he thinks if it gets to 13 he will bet Winnipeg. I might hedge a little but I love anything under 10. I am in the midst of trying to get tickets to the game and probably will fly to Toronto to enjoy the game. If I attend, I will not hedge a dime.
Savant: I seen 9 and jumped on it right away. Greek pulled a fast one and had the line up a lot earlier than normal. Don't know if it went back and I moved it up.

Dinwiddie has been serviceable off the bench, but it is a whole different game when you are the starter.
You have not had the lukury of watching the defense from the sidelines and getting a feel for the game.
Sask - did a good job of shutting down BC's offense b/c we lost 2 olineman from the same position in the first half. SASK then just kept rotating different guys into that slot to pass rush against this poor kid who had not taken a snap this year.
Tough break for BC, not to take anything away from Sask Defense but they had us by the nuts on the line

Tuff break on the offensive line but they shut down Calgary as well. My main point is Winnipeg struggled in the last 7-8 games on offense with Glenn and Dinwiddle had an easy task, kind of like a closer coming in baseball with a 9 run lead with the other team producing 2 hits for the game. No sweat for anyone so I will take a confident Sask team coming home to 1000+ fans at 2am is insane and they will fill the seats with green in Toronto. Should be a fun one.

Well Charles Roberts will unquestionably have more running opportunities than Joe Smith had. I think BC did not run the ball enough, and perhaps that is due to the early defecit combined with OL injuries. However, Joe Smith only had 8 carries. I think Roberts can get some serious yardage on the ground. However, a lot of this depends on Dinwiddie's ability to distribute, cause Sask will stack the box if he can't get his passing game going.

Russell, you can ask anyone that actually bets serious that this line came out at 9. Your problem is you are a square and you have one book. Don't be upset at me cause I catch a line early and move it. Day in and day out you make yourself sound more like a F**&^ng chump and a clown. I understand you have aspirations on being funny like the real Russell Peters, news flash, that guy is not funny at all and the fact that you made your name based on him as your idol, makes you even more of a joke. Let me get this straight, I bet -11 and modified it to -9. I also pretended like I bought a half point and modified the number to -120 for the proper juice. I also modified the time I bet it to associate it with the time the Greek released the line. Why would you even ask for a screen cap?? So you could "try" to be funny like Russell?? You are a clown and have nothing better to do with your time. GET A LIFE!!! I will simply click "ignore" cause not once have you added value to my threads. Seriously, I know you are old enough to bet but you should find yourself, you need help. :toast:

Buck, I actually expect Sask to do just that, stack the box and make an inexperienced QB to beat them through the air. I agree that Smith was not utilized properly cause Jackson made early mistakes under the prime time and playoff pressure. Again I will say if Sask defense can do that to a QB that lead the #1 offense in the league, what will they do to a player that has only filled in when the starter was injured...... especially in the Grey Cup?? Thinking about flying out and catching the game if I do, it will be a last minute thing. Did you already bet the under?? What number did you get?? :toast:

Just because someone thought you were lying about your wager "AFTER THE FACT", you posted after it so called won, I am posting my plays almost a week before kick off. You don't need to steal other people's attacks on you and use it on others. You are so pathetic and maybe because of your insecurities of what you do, you automatically think people are like yourself and do the same shit you do. I don't have time to lie about wagers before the game and I also will assume it was a ghost that moved the line. Better yet, I waited until someone pounded the line and pretended like it was myself :ohno: I would put in the threads where you had losing posts and got bashed, I guess that is where you get it from. Cheers to you and good luck in life, you need it!! Seriously!!

:toast:
Enjoy the game dude... should be fun to watch! Well I really don't know what to do in terms of the spread. You are probably right about stacking the box immediately and making Dinwiddie beat them. However, with man to man coverage on a huge field, against two of the best WRs (Armstrong, Stegall), you gotta figure that even Dinwiddie knows he doesn't need to do anything special to make that work. Armstrong is such a big target that he could even lob it up and I'd say it's a 70-30 chance Armstrong comes down with it in single coverage.
Picked up the under at 49.5 for a medium bet.

do you like sask as a pick em?
I put them in a 10 team 10pt teaser and have them at -1/2. If that teaser lands it will make me as much money as the pats will at -21 :)

doesn't matter GT can't cover a -14 pt spread :( it happens 1 unit not a huge loss. Woulda been a huge payout though.

The more I think about it the less chance I see the Riders covering this 11.5 points. There is no way that Winn is going to put Dinwiddie in a position to mess up this game. I see short screens and running plays eating up the clock as well as a tough Winnipeg D being given the job of bringing this one home. I am pretty sure that this is a Rider win in a close low scoring game.
I could be wrong but that is where my $ is going. Riders ml, peg + points as my big bet and the under!!!

What an ugly way to close off a great CFL season. Joseph decided not to show up getting stalled numerous times in the red zone, over throwing WR all game, WR dropping passes like it is the plague. Cut into my NFL profits today but I will get over it!! See you guys when Arena starts in here!! Good luck all!! hola

Overall a boring game IMO.
Joseph was not the same Joseph we saw in the regular season. Tough break. Feel bad for Stegall as he has had a great career in Wpg.
Congrats to all Wpg backers on the spread, from the get go this line was way off. Hope some took advantage of the generous line.
Nice work in the NFL KC!!!
