Ok RX members, I have a special favor to ask, I don't ask for many but hear me out.
The Rx website is a great site and very expensive to run, I'm not nor is anyone else asking you to send money to the Rx but if you gamble and use an offshore book or need one why not choose one that helps out the Rx with revenue to keep this great site of ours up and running!
I stand to make no money from this so don't get any crazy ideas. I just know that if we gamble and have an offshore book we're using why not use one of our sponsors listed below so it helps the Rx stay strong! Just a thought, and honestly I asked Wil If I could do this he didn't ask me!
BetJamaica (http://www.therx.com/phpads/adclick.php?log=no&bannerid=175&zoneid=&source=&dest=http://www.betjamaica.com/default.aspx?ZID=N694)

Sorry, not as fancy as some of the other forums but I'm not that great with a computer. If you decide to try one of the books above be sure to indicate that the Rx sent you.
Thanks for your time and lets find those winners!!!

I clicked on both of your links and it took me to the sportsbetting home page?:think2:
Long story short:
Both links go to the same place. If you hover over (w/o clicking) the SportsBetting one and look at the link in your status bar, you'll see the other link.
However, while yes, it does go to SportsBetting site eventually, it does so through an immediate step, an affiliate program. In other words, this jackass gets commission anytime someone uses his link to deposit at SportsBetting.
As a previous poster said, VERY shady. :nono5:

From the site he's sending you to as an intermediary:
WHAT IS EARNREAL.COM?
EarnReal is the affiliate program behind SPORTSBETTING.COM, RaceBook.com and win4real.com where affiliates can earn commissions from the players they refer.
DOES IT COST ME ANYTHING TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE?
It is totally FREE to become an affiliate of EarnReal.
WHAT DO I GET PAID FOR?
You get paid for the traffic you send that deposit money. We will pay you based on a percent of house net win.
HOW DOES AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM WORK?
Affiliate programs work by the webmaster (you) placing a link either through a banner, text or other means to our website. Your link will contain an embedded affiliate ID associating all the traffic you send to us, so when the visitor signs up they are linked to you and you will earn from the house generated in profit from your visitors.

BetOnline is not a sponsor here right now but BetJamaica is. To make sure that BetJamaica knows you are from The Rx.com just click on the link below and register there, they will know from the link you are a Rxer and there is also a place when you are registering that asks how did you find BetJamaica you can just type Rx.com.

Thanks very much and best of luck, wilheim

Bottom line guys, which is the all around best book listed here? I want early lines, excellent and fast customer service, and timely payouts at least once a month for free. I was going to use BetJamaica, but the lady on the phone was kind of a rude bitch; needless to say, that doesn't make me think too highly of them so far in the customer service department. look forward to your response.

Well, I took dwax's refferal. I made a bet Jam acct. a few days ago and finally funded it today. I must have called the 5 or 6 times to ask questions about funding and stuff. I would not say they were rude bitches, I think it was just a language barrier in most cases as I had to ask them to repeat things for me almost every time they gave me an answer.
I am glad to get set up in time for baseball. I am glad if it helped the RX. This was my first offshore account. I had a Bdog years ago prior to all the changes.

When you post a pick please use numbers that are widley available at the time of you're post. WA or widley available lines make it easy for everyone to use the play. I have recieved several E-mails asking me to make an announcement.
Remember this is not a popularity contest but a handicapping forum - lets make it as easy as possible for everyone to participate. If you use free half point outs simply state so.
Laying -6 at 7AM yourself then posting that same pick at the same -6 when it is up to -7 or 7.5 by 4PM when you get a chance to post helps no one. There is no -6 to be had and -7 or -7.5 is a long way off -6.
The same goes for baseball posting a favorite at -125 when you played it the night before and saying it is a play when the game is now -145 the next afternoon when you post does little good for anyone. Remember post the number that is widley available for all at the time of you're post.
Thanks, and best of luck, wil.

Please proceed with extreme caution at your own risk when dealing with other Rx posters privately, especially in financial matters. The Rx.com does not endorse any activity that includes posters soliciting other posters for loans, wagers or cash transfers (by Paypal or book to book etc.) and cannot vouch for any posters that attempt to procure loans, wagers or transfers from other posters anywhere on this site.
This also goes for posters trying to form groups to buy a service package. Use the most extreme caution before you even think about getting involved in one of these group get together to buy a service deals that have been popping up in this Forum lately. Extremely risky.
Financial transactions between posters are extrememly risky and The Rx. advises the use of the most serious caution before making any kind of financial transaction with another poster. The Rx.com itself cannot be held responsible when posters fail trying to recover funds loaned, transferred or won by wager with other posters under any circumstances.
Unless you personally know a poster or one is vouched for you by someone you trust highly you should be very hesitent to conduct unsecured financial business with posters that you meet on this any other forum.
I cannot over emphasize how dangerous it is to bet with, loan money to, or transfer funds with or to complete stangers and expect to be paid in the end.
I am not saying all posters are dishonest but utmost caution needs to be practiced whenever posters deal with each others privately, especially in regards to financial matters. The Rx.com cannot help mediate disputed wagers or debts accrued between private parties unless both are willing to cooperate.
Caveat Emptor - let the buyer beware..

Poster Can'tPickaWinner is the official Moderator of this forum and will be in charge of keeping all posts in the service play forum within forum rules, but he is extremely busy and needs your coperation..
Please do not post any private picks or opinion threads in this forum. Please use the appropriate sport forums for any thing except legitimate service plays in the two appropriate daily threads here in The Service Play Forum.
That does not mean open your own personal thread to post picks, it does not mean open threads about particular services to shil for them or to bash them. While I am reluctant to create any new rules here in the Rx.com Sport Forums, I would like to appeal to everyone to refrain from what is becoming epidemic in nature -- The posting of profane thread titles.
I am talking about posters who take a tough beat and want to blame it on a relief pitcher who blew a 9Th inning lead, a quarterback who is intercepted in what would have been a point spread covering drive, or a coach of any given team whose late game strategy fails and his team also fails to cover the point spread.
There are many other examples but I think you all get my point.
Lets all stop with "Fucking Brad Lidge or John Papelbon" type of thread titles. For every bad beat you experience there is someone who got a lucky late game cover from the same game..
Bottom line blaming an individual player, coach, umpire or referee for a game you played and lost is not very mature behavior. Bad or tough beats are a big part of gambling, feel free to vent but PLEASE do not dumb down our very valuable and for the most part intelligent Sport Forums by creating a thread title like "The Cubs Blow" or Donavan McNabb is a fucking clown" etc etc etc.
These thread titles irritate many of us and are totally unnecessary and to put it bluntly juvenile in nature. I know if you don't like don't read it. Fine but still the thread does little to enhance the overall sharp post percentage of our sport forums.
Take it to The Rubber Room and rant away. Get mad if you want but don't look for sympathy by throwing a tantrum in the middle of a forum filled with threads that are written with intelligence and the desire to share knowledge with other players that could help a poster stop a bad run of luck or help another keep a hot streak intact..
Going forward do not be surprised to see profane thread titles edited or the thread itself moved to the Rubber Room.
I am asking you all to think before you rant about a blown save or a goal line fumble that cost you a wager. We have all been there and know the feeling.
Lets keep these Sport Forum positive instead of a place to cry about a difficult loss that each of us pulled the trigger on in the first place at one time or another and when viewed with an unbiased mind is where the blame really lies for all lost wagers -- The person who made the bet itself..Not the pinch hitter who wiffed with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9Th or the offensive lineman who got called for holding to nullify a spread covering TD.
Take responsibility for your own decisions and deal with them like a mature and intelligent handicapper.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, wilheim...

I want to be able to screen any claims made by these shils and first of all ban them from this forum and 2nd ban the name of the service itself but I need your help.
Whenever you see what looks like a poster shilling for some unknown and possibly unscroupulous service PLEASE help out the entire board by emailing me The poster name of the shil, the name of the service and the name and date of the thread I can find him in. Each post has a number at the top right.
Simply write in your email "Poster lookingforeasymoney, representing Oneborneveryday sports, Post #85 in The Monday August 24th Service play thread."
Email this info to person19481950@yahoo.com (person19481950@yahoo.com) and I will take care of the matter from there....

Post Review is when you make a post but you get a message that a moderator has to review the post first before it can be posted in it's intended forum.
I would like to take you off post review and allow you to post freely here in on The Rx.com Posting Forum without having to wait for a moderator to review every post you make.
The reason you are on is probably something to do with the way you registered. In many cases it is you have a posting name already active coming from your IP. but there are other reasons.
If The Rx.com has you on post review and you would like to get off please email me at wilheim@therx.com (wilheim@therx.com) back-up person19481950@yahoo.com (person19481950@yabhoo.com) and include your Rx poster name in the email. Please title the email Rx Post Review Removal so I will be able to identify the email and not treat it like spam.
I may have to ask you a question or two but ultimately I want to free up posters restricted by post review. There are no guarantees but a brief email is the best way to get off post review..
Thank you, wilheim
