Now I'm not one of the kids out in the right field bleachers with the rest of the Green and Gold crew but I'm up there with the rest of us who live and die with this team. I dare any Chicago Cub fan to tell me any of their losses were worse than ours last night. Given all the scenarios the A's had to win it collapsed.

We have five bridges here in the Bay Area. We've all been advised to avoid them. Nonetheless it's hard to work today.3

What are your thoughts on trading Cespedes?

From a impartial observer, although I had Cespedes on my fantasy team--that was idiotic. I questioned that when I heard it, although I thought Cepedes would go off in Fenway. Obviously that affected the chemistry of the A's as the record shows.

Try being a Ranger fan and lose the way they did being 1 strike away from wining their 1st World Series in 2011

He's an average hitter but his arm makes him above average IMO. His ceiling is probably .270 and 30 homers which isn't bad at all. Low OBP because he swings at everything. Still, that arm saves runs.

I took celebratory shots with the A's up 7-3 late in the game last night. Went to bed early. Woke up to see the odds on their next game against the Angels. CRUSHED.

Try being a Red Sox fan, and with the congratulations graphics on the screen for winning the World Series (in 1986), and being one strike away -> Bill Buckner.

I was behind it. I was for strong pitching in the post season because that's how it is. Besides the way we scored runs was by platoon. Now granted EVERYFUCKINGBODY went cold offensively after the trade. I thought it was bullshit. All chemistry talk aside I couldn't imagine why Donaldson, Moss, Vogt, Crisp and even f'ing Reddick for that matter couldn't produce. And did you see most of the games that we lost? 2-1, 3-2, 0-1??? The pitching always held it's ground, we just couldn't manufacture any runs to save our lives. I don't blame the trade, I blame the rest of POS's in the dugout for going cold.
