The Oriole BP is not a little better, it's much better top to bottom. I also think they have the edge with a home crowd and in game management by Showalter. The Orioles are like a lot of overachieving WS winners of the past decade. They play smart, field well, and have the intensity that can carry a team in the postseason. Jones, Cruz and Markakis have hit Scherzer well in the past, and he usually gets his pitch count up there making the BP necessary in the later innings. Tillman is not an ace but has pitched as well as Scherzer in the past month and a half. If Cabrera was his usual self, this might be a tougher play, but his injuries have definitely hurt his production. Detroit's defense also looks sloppy at times. Electric home crowd wins out tonight.
