In American sports. Rarely if ever and only collegiate sports. Highly unlikely in our professional sports.

But I do think there are instances in sports like soccer, tennis, and badminton...

I hear they are cracking down on the badminton point shaving.

Up in Rhode Island years ago, they had to give urine samples from race horses. Finally one day somebody from the State decided to not look the other way and went to the track with the test results. He walked in and told the trainers "I wanna meet the horse that smokes"
