Not an overwhelming Summer for movies, but there were some good ones.

My 2 Favorites which I thought were best:

Edge Of Tomorrow
Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

I haven't seen Xmen Days Of Future Past yet, but think it will rank right up there...

If you’re into a fearless bad ass who doesn’t take shit from anyone you’ll love this movie.

Saw it last week and really enjoyed it.

Loved the line in the restaurant where the girl says "What’s your name?” Washington says “Bob” and she replies “you don’t sound like a Bob, you sound like a Robert.”

I saw just about all of them. Here's what I liked from best to worst.

1. The Equalizer - Denzel plays a badass. Great movie.
2. Oblivion - tom cruise movie. Thought it was really entertaining
3. Tombstones Among Us - good solid movie.
4. Skeleton Kings - Dark comedy. Funny
5. Xmen - the latest one had a great story. Best one of those yet.
6. Guardians - it was good. About 30 min too long.
7 The Drop - was expecting it to be better. But not bad

Most Wanted Man - very average. Pretty slow movie. I walked out in last 15 min.

Boyhood - I guess it's cool for making it over 12 years, but they should have chose a more interesting kid. Talk about a boring ass 12 years. Nothing really happens, but him growing up moving around and going to school. BORING

Fault in Our Stars - felt gay buying a ticket. Theatre filled with teenage girls. Watched about 35 minutes and had enough.

Oblivion was 2013. I think you're talking about Edge of Tomorrow. A great, underrated Cruise movie.

one of my favorite movies of the year, went unnoticed for the most part

Bad Words is a 2013 American black comedy film directed by Jason Bateman and written by Andrew Dodge. Marking Bateman's directorial debut, the film stars Bateman as a middle-aged eighth grade dropout who enters the National Quill Spelling Bee through a loophole. It also stars Allison Janney, Philip Baker Hall, and Kathryn Hahn.
Scabrously funny and gleefully amoral, Bad Words boasts one of Jason Bateman's best performances — and proves he's a talented director in the bargain."
