Headed to Vegas this week and looking to cross a high dollar poker game off my bucket list. Something like 100-200 limit or a good no limit game. Wouldnt mind sitting in with some pros just for thr experience. Probably going to get beat up but I wanna try it once. Thanks in advance for the help!

Go to Bellagio. Why play at such a high limit for an experience? LOL

Was at the Bellagio in August. They had some high limit games running.

Any idea what kind of limits they offer?

Bigbet: I'm a good poker player. I'd like to try a once in a lifetime "how do I stack up" against these guys. Many of which I find to be clowns. I also have no respect for money. I just love experiences.

How you stack up is determined in the long run, not the short run.

Balls-on accurate Drunken. You beat me to the punch on the ONE correct answer to the question.

Sorry to see Kev ask these stupid questions just after bull-crapping us in another thread that he was being PAID by touts for his NFL picks. This guys imagination is running wild all of a sudden.

Might want to drop down the street Kev.... to see if Steve Stevens wants to BUY any of your picks? (Only the "absolute BLOW-OUT winners)

you might want to try the commerce casino in LA if you want
some decent high fixed limit holdem action. games are going
most of the time and in general are not as tough as the vegas games.
the vegas games are MUCH better on weekends rather than weekdays.
also, at any high limit table, the possibility of collusion is much higher
than at a lower stake game.

Thanks for bringing the collusion thought up Niltes. I hadn't even thought about that. I appreciate your other insight as well.

Toddy: I'm not sure what 3 stack of high society or bigger is. I was thinking 100-200 limit if they had it. I usually play in 10-20 games so 100-200 is surely out of my norm! Probably not a real good idea. I can only imagine how hard my heart will be pounding and how much I'll be sweating. Hard to hide those tells! lol.

Drunken: For sure! I've beaten Jamie Gold and Todd Brunson in a single session. It felt good, but by no means would I rate myself as a better player than either. I just got dealt better cards that hour! lol. Poker is surely all about the long term. I'm just looking for a one night bang.

Packer: You're a funny guy. No question is a stupid question Bro. The only stupid question is the one a guy doesn't ask. When I don't have answers, I look to get edjumuhcated on the issue. Gambling has a lot to do with my job. I'm just here looking for answers. No need to bust my balls. How would you like it if I came into your job and threw fries on the floor?

But thanks for the laugh with the Steve Stevens comment. That guy is comical. So is his -2.5, -6.5, -9.5, -13.5 laying Italian sidekick.

As far as selling picks to services goes, I wish I didn't! It's a mundane job where I'm sedentary for hours on end, sometimes 18 hours a day. I'm well over 3 bills and my health sucks. I really wish I'd have stuck with delivering packages lol.

Don't be so grouchy man. It ain't healthy!

Aria is the place to go. Just ask to be seated in the Pro section which is the top floor of the room. Best to go late at night. You'll get all you want and then some.
