Anyone else really hate the SO popup?

I get that ad revenues on the Rx aren't what they were in the heyday but really guys,…this Sports Options popup MAY make me stop coming here and sharing my views on the world, and what a tragedy THAT would be!!!

It's muy annoying

I know therx has to pay the bills but when a popup is that annoying I go out of my way to make sure I never EVER use that advertiser. Maybe I'm alone but it hurts more than it helps for me

Just logged in had it pop up 5 different times in 5 minutes. Yes it is annoying. But as Bourn pointed out this is really the least of my problems life could be much worse.

I agree, but it wouldn't be so bad if it just popped up once, but it seems that every section I go to, it pops up. Frustrating when you're on your phone.

Just click on the option that says you already have SO... They've made this pop up a few times over the years, no big deal.

Awful analogy. Anything that is wrong in the world should be compared to this? AP's son who got beat, well at least he didn't get blown up.

Yes the popup is annoying, for me its just a small price to pay for admission to the interactive posting zoo that is the rx.

It was Set wrong and that's why there was a problem with it showing up all the time.

I believe it was fixed this afternoon and there shouldn't be anymore problems

I understand why it's there. It wouldn't bother me if it showed up just once when I accessed the page for the first time each day. But I get the popup every 5 clicks or so.

I'll be posting much less until it's either gone or fixed.
