So, im smoking a 10lb brisket today. First time ever using a smoker or cooking brisket but its going to be delicious. Ivegot my mesquite wood chips soaking in water right now and should have the brisket on heat in about a half hour. Anyone have any tips or tricks for me? Im using an electric smoker btw.

You better have a lot of time. Every brisket is different. Good luck

So what are you using for a rub? I assume with an electric smoker, once you put it on it's pretty much set it and forget it, other than monitoring the temp of the meat. Huge brisket fan, but have only smoked one so far.
