Not sure what ballpark you go to, but any baseball park I have been to if you want to park anywhere in a 2 mile radius (that isn't blocked off) you have to pay to park...maybe even 3 mile radius
Why pay to park? just park for free and walk.

whats funny is unlike some stadiums, the chiefs/royals stadium is not in the middle of the city, its on the outskirts with a huge parking lot that easily accommodates all of the fans. just cheap ownership getting as much money from their fans as possible.

I went to a Rockies game two months ago. Parked about 10 blocks away and didn't pay a dime.

I don't hate the $11, I get their are workers, security, insurance etc..... but if regular season game is $11 for parking, no reason to more than double it for the post-season, its not a supply and demand item. chiefs parking in the same lot is $27....

Plenty of places to park for free here in Houston and walk to the stadium. Lots of bars and restaurants around the stadium as well.

this will make y'all feel better. my friend just posted this on fb from downtown sf (near the ballpark)...
parking.jpg

on the flip side, i saw a giants-marlins game at joe robbie (or whatever it's called now) stadium and parking was free. i'd never seen that before at a pro sporting event.
