I dont think Vargas is all that good (my opinion)
I am thinking O's wiil be able to score more against him, but they need to do it before the 6th inning...

Agreed....come 7th 8th and 9th its damn near impossible to score off those 3 guys.

O's gotta do better when they get guys on base...they gotta get play some some small ball and quit relying on the big HR -- although that got them to the dance - it aint working now!

Dont mean to back track here but didnt anyone notice that play at the plate in the 1st inning when the Royals scored 2....#1) it looked like Joseph could have been called for being in base line before he caught the ball #2) even so, and even if he caught the ball home - the slide went around the tag #3) of course he never even caught the ball so the last 2 points are irrelevant.
Just shows how important that Catcher's spot is (ask A's fans a few days ago when KC stole 8 on Norris) and it makes me think that with Yadier Molina being out teh Cardinals are going to have it really rough vs San Fran!
