I am a lifelong Cardinals fan. This guy is terrible. Being a former catcher, you'd think he'd have an idea of how to manage a rotation and bullpen. But he can't. Couple that with his poor lineup decisions and pinch hitting spots--I just can't take it. Be glad you're not subjected to watching this guy do this all year. He is worth at least 3-4 losses a year, yet is heralded as being some new, young, top manager because of his teams recent success (their doing, not his). Can't stand this guy. /end rant :neenee:
I have a bit of a problem understanding how Jhonni Peralta hits sixth in the lineup and Kolton Wong hits seventh. Cards had men an first and third with no outs and Peralta up. He promptly hits into a double play with just the one run scoring. Wong comes up next and hits the ball out of the park. Wong, is one of the hottest hitters on the planet and Peralta can't hit his hat size.
