Peavy, who can be erratic at times and you have Ventura, a rookie pitcher, who is gonna be nervous as hell and hasn't been that good in postseason means a lot of runs.

Game 2 is the perfect opportunity for the Royals to bounce back and I think they will. Advantage for KC is the royal hitters know Peavy and have hit well against him.

I have watched Ventura pitch at least ten times this year. He has incredible ability, have seen his fastball hit 100 mph, and not once did I see this kid look like he was over his head. When you watch him pitch he looks totally unflappable. Granted, it's the World Series but don't be surprised if he's undaunted by the circumstances. I too like the over but more so because I expect Peavy to be very hit able for the Royals.
