One student is dead and as many as six more are injured after a school shooting in Washington state.

The dead student is the gunman, police have confirmed.

He committed suicide after opening fire inside the cafeteria around 10:45 a.m. at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, according to the Seattle Times. He is believed to be the only suspect.

Good lord I sit down to watch the 6 pm news and hear this and also about some nut yesterday in canada killed a young guard and the another nut in ny attacked officers what is wrong wth all these crazy people!!! I hate watching the news

Let us be very careful here. We must not be too quick to blame the gun. After all.....one person was killed with an axe in idaho...so that means guns and axes both need new laws. No, seriously that is the argument of right wing gun nuts.

Good thing the Sergeant At Arms had a gun up in Ottowa the other day. Who knows how many more people would have died.

Good thing that guy in the Nevada Walmart about a year ago confronted those two cop killers with a gun and got shot and killed.

Not a Good thing we have parents who don't protect their weapons from their kids or let mentally ill kiids go to gun range to practice.
Yes, we can always find a few examples of that. For some reason that seems to be one of the reasons we should not discuss tougher gun laws. The arguments against strict gun laws amuses me.
