Not a lot I like tonight despite the large card. Some nights you’ve got four games on the docket and you like everything. Some nights, like tonight, I see little value.....except two.

The Blues have gotten off to a slow start, (2-3-1) and have scored one goal in their last two games. Paul Stastny misses his third straight game and the team has been dealing with a bacterial infection that, ”... really zaps your energy, so you've got nothing,” Ken Hitchcock said.
"It's not viral, it's bacterial infection that ... it starts with one person and then it's passed very quickly through water bottles, or a towel, or whatever ... the shower floor. It just goes, like 'right now,' goes zipping through your team.”
Several Blues' players missed practice yesterday and you have to assume that the team as a whole is not 100% whether they suit up or not. Not a good situation against a healthy Blackhawk squad, (excluding Crawford), that has to be looking at this as a great opportunity. Chicago has had troubles playing in St. Louis losing 5 of their last 6 trips. However they have lost only once in regulation in their last 8 to Scottrade Center. This one never gets to OT.

Long standing and profitable angle that continues to cash. Pens always come out flying in the opening stanza. 4-2 so far this year outscoring their opponents 11-5.
