The Royals dipped below .300 OPS and a .133 BA last game vs Bum, the lowest of the post season for them. Giants on the other hand have scored 16 runs in their last 2 games, and hit .400 & .343 respectively.

In the previous four instances (each of which happened more than 40 years ago), each pitcher's team lost Game 6, but won the Series in the final game.

you don't win tonight it is OVER....if you don't win when you are 0-1, you must win 4 games before the opponent wins 2 more. There's a difference

i understand the mathematics behind it....still a high high level of pressure for a rookie and he already faced it once vs the same pitcher and the same ballpark

the way peavy has been pitching- he is the one that looks like the rookie.
i am cheering on kc..but just a spectator.
imo peavy gets yanked early and kc takes an early lead..whether they hold it is another story
