Is there a trick to using the "search" function here?

Every time I try and search for an old thread, it tells me the word I entered is "either too short or used too often so was not included in the search."

Maybe fiveteamparlay could chime in as he obviously has it down pat.

use google. works much better


type in

site:therxforum.com and "your search" and "your search part II"

if you tell me what you're looking for i can show you how to search for it in a boolean string

Thanks roll tide. I started a thread that should be titled something along the lines of:

"The Dow currently sits at 17,000; what's more likely? It drops to 15,000 or increases to 20,000."

Was just curious about it and wanted to update it.

Just found it on google using the search technique you recommended. Thanks. I'll use that in the future as well.

yeah i'd have done something like

site:therxforum.com and "dow" and "sits"

or

site:therxforum.com and "dow" and "secplayer"
