I think I read that if the first team gets a fg if the other team throws an int as soon as the int is possessed the game is over and any td scored would not count
Because that would give the other team an extra possession.
Each team gets to posses the ball once assuming the first team does not get a td.

I don't think any NFL team has ever won an ot game by more then 6 points but I guess it would be possible in theory for a team to win by 9 if what hc said ever happened.
