So lets make this fun, I will stir the pot....

Winning and losing is a team sport, what about the individual performances?

Manning has 5 MVPs, most in NFL history - (individual award) with his 1st & last at 10 years apart
Brady has 2 MVPs

And yet tomorrow they'd make Denver the Favorite @ NE. And people would bet on them. Again. And they'd lose. Again.

hype vs results, I take results

Peyton always surrounded by stability, by superstar or dare I say even HOF receivers, while poor ole Tom makes a nobody look good so they can move on and make the big bucks before they crash down to earth

Nope. But B & B won me over a long time ago. 2 Gifts were given out this year, NE as Home Dogs. They don't happen often, only one other time since 2005, last year against Peyton. When it happens, I'm more than happy to take full advantage of it.

Games below 40 degrees.
Manning 8-12
Brady 43-6

Manning is the better QB in controlled conditions with cookie cutter pro bowl receivers.
Brady gets to throw to converted college quarterbacks like Julian Edeleman in nor'easters.

How many Super Bowls have the Patriots won without cheating?

none, which is one less than Peyton won in his career

in that time frame, they have owned the best record in football.

and if two last minute losses in the SB, one of them because of the most fortuitous play in SB history, proves they can't "win" now, I just want to say thank you for helping them be one of the very best ATS teams in the last decade

if they're weren't so many haters, the Andy Dalton led Cincinnati Bengals could never be favored in NE, a place Brady is now 88 and 13, including 30+ straight wins against conference opponents

think about that 88-13 at home yet they're getting points from both Cinci and Denver, how can one explain that?

1. Manning is far ahead of Brady in a number of volume stats (touchdown passes, passing yards, etc.), but in terms of efficiency stats (completion percentage, yards per attempt, touchdown percentage, passer rating), the gap between Manning and Brady is not a huge one. In fact, it’s “razor-thin.”
“Manning’s average attempt over the course of his career gains a whopping 7 inches more than Brady’s average career attempt,” Byrne wrote. “Over the course of 1,000 attempts, Manning will throw four more TD passes, but also 6 more INTs. In fact, the biggest single statistical difference between the two is that Manning is more likely to throw picks.”

2. Brady has played 92 percent of his career games outdoors, while Manning has played just 49 percent of his games outdoors. Brady’s stats indoors are much better than Manning’s. Considering he’s instead had to deal with the harsh New England weather for his entire career, it stands to reason that if Brady had the comfort of playing home games inside a dome, it’s realistic to believe his stats would be as good as or better than Manning’s.

Why be such a wanter? It's just sports, try to be objective.

2 close SB losses, 4 AFCCG, best record....I mean we can't do all the analysis for you, you see that dude #87 on the field? he was hurt late in the year the last 3 years. Might've had something to do with no SB wins.

Why do you think they were able to do all that but not win a SB? Stealing signals only worth 3pts in the last game of the year?

Brady has 2 MVPs

how isn't winning MVPs based mostly on stats (which pretty much is what the NFL MVP is) team related as well?

Notice Brady won it when he had a prime Randy Moss? You think he was any more valuable that year than other years? No, of course not but you don't win MVP in 2005 because you make an offense good that should probably be 1 of the worst in the league. You win it for putting up massive #s with star players in a dome.

I don't even really detract from Manning's success like others do. I think he is 1 of the best ever but the arguments people comeup with for why he is better than Brady are mostly awful.
