Think that's interesting because remember Cano... New York Yankees to Seattle Mariners...

Dallas Cowboys is somewhat like the NYY of MLB... Still think the player has a lot of say, but clearly they go after most money as possible.

I think Romo going down will change Dez's tone of wanting to stay in Dallas....

he'd look good in a Miami jersey but I can't see his leaving the cowboys.

Franchise tag
think Cowboys would be dumb not to do it.

He said he'd be "extremely disappointed" if they use it on him. I think it will be a huge deal to him but youre right, it's a no brainer for Cowboys to use that.

I doubt it, Murray is unrestricted as well.

I hope he leaves the division but I think it's highly unlikely.

I don't know, but it will be interesting to see how they handle it. Franchising a RB comes at nearly half the price tag of a WR and with Free and some other guys up I think it would be difficult financially to keep Bryant. I'm not sure what high priced guys they could release to shake some things up to try and keep all three.

Murray has a few years of elite play left tops

They will kep Dez over him no brainer

absolutely no way they should keep Murray over Dez.... maybe in 2003, but now, 99 of 100 knowledgable NFL fans should take Dez

small market teams I agree, but not with Jerry Jones.... they loved him from day 1.. remember they traded up with the Pats to get him....

imagine Tom Brady and Dez Bryant together though

He's been vocal about staying, but that's before Weeden was QB.. i think this makes him question everything...

Dez IMO would be my number 1 choice for WR if I was a GM - lockerroom issues and all. I think hes that special... but NFL has a bunch of extremely special WRs...

Calvin
DThomas
AJ
Julio
Dez

I'd take any of them over most of the past greats... just a ridiculous species of humans

I don't think it's about comparing Murray to Bryant as much as cost. If keeping Bryant means they are losing some combination of Murray, Free and others and hinders the from fixing the massive problems on defense it is a terrible move and the Cowboys would be handcuffing themselves for future success.

I'm not sure if there is an abundance of high priced dead weight that could be released to help avoid this.

Those guys are certainly freaks, but what have they ever done? Somewhere around a whopping 4-12 in playoff/elimination games and three of those wins are Thomas. Calvin played in all of one playoff game went ballistic and his team still lost by about three TD's, AJ was a no-show in all three of his playoff appearances which were all losses, Jones had one good game and lost and was invisible in the other two, Dez hasn't even made the playoffs, but came up short in two-three elimination games.

There hasn't been a solid track record of dumping tons of money into high priced WR's in this supposed pass happy league.

Wont argue with you there. Can't build your team around a WR... ATL perfect example

I'm comparing WRs to WRs.. Or Rbs only.

I'm still missing Antonio Brown in your list though: Doesn't have the size of the guys on your list but would take him over at least have the guys in your list: Guy stays healthy, barely ever drops a catchable pass thrown into his direction, gets open and once he has the ball in open field, good luck stopping him.
