A lot of ppl are against it as they claim there are too many loopholes.

I've never done drugs my entire life, yet I'm still all for it & don't know who in the hell the government thinks they are to begin with, to make something illegal that grows naturally right out of the ground.

Just curious if you would vote yes to legalize it medically or no today if living in Florida...

I voted yes. If someone wants marijuana they can get it whether it is legal or not. This is only for medical purposes. The state makes money and the illegal dealers don't.

I'm for legalizing social drugs across the boards, so I'd vote yes

Legalization would decrease violent crimes, empty jails, free up courts, improve quality and provide tax revenues

I voted yes. I dont use but I know someone going through cancer treatments right now who told me that it helps her during her "bad days". It also helped a family friend many yrs ago when he was suffering

the people have spoken on this issue.....as long as cigarettes and booze are legal, it is a farce that pot isn't. legalizing just gives mooks a good connection they never had. Any real smokers have their source already.

I vote in Florida (military/absentee). I voted no. I am not necessarily against it, I just want more clarification....

Typical what? I want more info on it. They didn't lay it out, too vague.

What is "typical" is the pot-head mentality. There's more to it than that. I want to know how it's controlled/regulated/taxed/distributed, etc. On the surface, sure...sell it, tax it, everyone's happy. But there's more than that.

It needed 60% to pass and got just under 58%. A majority of Floridians favor it but just not enough to get to 60%. It will be back on the ballot in 2 years and will probably pass. I would rather the state tax it and dispense it then have drug dealers profit from it.
