My 2014 season picks ATS and totals

I'm carrying over my record from my previous threads to this one for the remainder of the season. I'm not a capper so please choose to follow at your own risk. Thanks guys.

i could go on and on about tonight's game and all the stats pointing to the under but I won't because you all know what I know. So here's tonights play for me....

Here are my saturday picks so far, more to be posted later as lines move:

saturday:

totals-

UAB/LA tech over 56.5
michigan/northwestern under 40.5 (good defenses, no offenses)

ATS-

Iowa +1 (minnesota can't finish games at all! I'm fading them from here on out)
kentucky +10 (georgia just got gashed and kentucky can score, give me the points)
Duke -3.5 (syracuse is weak at the qb position and duke is rolling offensively)
Appalachian state -4.5 (app state can score, UL monroe can't)
West Virginia -3 (texas will not be able to score with wvu, plain and simple)
notre dame +2.5 ( asu is very ovverated...... VERY)
virginia +20 ( I just want to see fsu lose)
UCLA -6 (washington's best DB just got dismissed, and the team is in disarray)
georgia southern -14 (Texas state could get BOATRACED here)
Colorado +17 (to many points for a fiesty team)
marshall -25.5 ( im back on the train after the bump in the road against fau)
alabama -6.5 (stop buying the Lsu hype)
michigan state -3 (I just think Sparty is the better bet here)
kansas state +6 (a much more complete team, TCU may win but kstate covers)
baylor +5 (Oklahoma has an awful secondary, baylor may not win but should cover)

my best play:

oregon -8 ( or any other nunber for that matter! Yes I'm a homer but this could be a route. Oregon is unstoppable on offense, Mariota is healthy and utah is banged up and missing their only deep threat and the pac 12's best WR in my opinion. This should be an easy cover. Statistically Stanford's defense is better than utah's, so I don't see utah leading the nation in sacks being much of a difference)

* I play all of these games for amounts ranging from 10-100$, but usually fall around 20-50$ a piece.

Well tonight i did the exact opposite of what I always do. My strategy is to keep it simple stupid and go with my gut and the knowledge I have of sports, not stats. I talked myself out of the temple game and decided after hearing about all the stats memphis has put up and temple hasn't that the better play would be memphis. SMH im an idiot and no one to blame but myself. I split on the night and I'm looking to kill this weekend. I'm still +550 on my bookie but I'm looking to double that by the end of the day tomorrow. BOL everyone

Adding two total plays to my list:

Courtesy of redelephant im adding UAB/la tech over 56.5..... Looks like a strong play considering the offenses and average defenses.

i also like Michigan/northwestern under 40 as well because of the stout defenses, slow play and inept offenses. Might throw quite a bit down on this game.

Two big differences between the game IN SALT LAKE and the game at EUGENE. That was difference No. 1. Second, UTAH has by a landslide, heads and shoulders, arms, knees and feet, the BEST special teams in the country. Oregon been prone to lose games down the stretch, I teased it for a little safety, but this game is NOT gonna be the blowout you expect. GL

But I'm taking my ducks and the points for 100$ no matter what they are steam rolling teams and look HUNGRY. I hate betting on them too, but I won last week on them and I feel good HOMIE! My record took a hit this week but my huge play on oregon put me up another 400$ in the long run. I forgot to post my Air Force play as well which won but I'm obviously not counting that on my record... 21-16 isn't bad, but I'm looking to finish over 60%.... Right now I'm at 58%..... Just need to tighten up my plays a little bit. BOL to everyone

Here is my early play for the Thursday night games. Ecu is coming of a loss to temple in bad weather and is now playing at cincy. Cincy has shown improved defense but they are no where near ECU's defense or offense. The line came out at -1 for ECU and the sagarin ratings have cincy as 5 points better. Vegas likes ECU here and im with them. The line has moved to -3 already. In taking it for 100$ while it's there before it goes up. Personally I think this could be a 20+ point win considering the fact that cincy is not a hostile place to play and the Pirates should come out pissed off and looking to bury someone.

I swore i wouldn't place another Mac bet this year but this is to tempting. Toledo is banged up badly. Their starting center, qb, and RB all have leg/ankle issues and have been limited in practice reps. The backup qb couldn't move the ball at all in the kent state game and their defense gave up 20 points to a backup qb from kent state.... Can't imagine with a banged up Toledo team that the huskies don't steamroll here at home by 14-17 points running away late. Nicked up players are never a good thing when you are already the lesser of the two teams. NIU should be the play here at anythig under 7 and my bookie has it at -4.5 now so my pick is:

NIU -4.5

LOLOLOL.... Now I'm dead set on winning a Mac game next week. It's my new short term goal in life. Great goal, I know..... I swear if ECU doesn't stomp cincy tomorrow im gonna lose my mind haha....
