Was one of the worse QB performances i have seen this season. Just horrific.

Starting QB's who were paid millions of dollars may have bad games but nothing like this!

WTF??????

A performance this fucking bad may ruin him for the rest of the year mentally.....especially for home games.

Bengals made the same mistake Chicago did.

They have not had a franchise qb in 20 years so because of that they decided to pay Dalton franchise money so they could lie to themselves and pretend like they have a franchise qb.

This seems to be a real problem that teams are making these days.

Teams will get or draft a very average or below average qb who is just good enough to where they don't get someone else, then they sign them to top qb money and screw themselves for years.

I agree with most of what you say but let's face it, the entire team never showed up tonight. Especially on offense. At home.

Dalton contract is more incentive based so Bengals aren't as handcuffed as many think they are

Those contracts are relatively easy committments to get out of really.

The alternative is you don't pay overrated QB X that money and then do what? Not that many people walking God's green earth that can play QB at a high level in the NFL. If you are trying to win now and you don't have a top 12-15 QB then you kinda gotta bite the bullet and overpay 1.

Well when you don't have a 12 to 15 QB you don't have to find a 12 to 15 qb to replace what you already have.

There are always cheeper solutions to replacing people like Dalton and Cutler.
Chicago had their solution on their bench and let him get away.

Kyle Orton was right there for the taking.

You never pay more for a player then they are worth under any circumstance.

There is never a good time to do it ever.

The Bengals are going to waste this window they have/had.

This team would be better then Denver if they had Manning.

Dalton's QB rating was 2.0.

To put into perspective how abysmal that is, spiking the ball into the ground on every snap would have given him a rating of 39. Let that sink in for a second.

VD,cleveland is not bad this year, they have a really good defense and some nice offensive players.they finally look to be on the way back upward.

Agree dalton is no good I never wanted him resigned. But also I don't know what the answer was. There was no one else to sign that would have got them anywhere. I know Orton is not the answer. There are only about 10 Qb worth to franchise out there.

Dalton just being Dalton. Every year he has a run when he looks top tier, and every year he has a run when he looks like your average Jets QB

I wouldn't trade him for Garappolo

Bengals should try and snatch Johnny Football

That might help the Bengals. Just not sure Cleveland would trade Johnny Football to another AFC North team.
