I think you are crazy ... Bitcoin are like religion. You have to believe in it. You have to believe it has value and you must find a community of believers that also think it has value, it undermining the limited supply argument .. to me it is really a payment service dressed up as a digital currency.

Because it has no value. The only real reason to invest in it is because over the short-term someone might give you more than you pay for it.

I think it is a cool idea and helps facilitate payment but it is backed by nothing and can easily be disrupted. There are something 200 crypto-currencies right now, in a few years bitcoin could just be the myspace of this industry.

PP or WU or MG don't have any value either. They are just 1's and 0's over a wire somewhere. What they are good for, as well as Bitcoin, is as a money transfer agent and Bitcoin does it far more cheaply and efficiently.

With that being said, I feel it's overpriced now. I hope it goes down to $100. At that time I will begin to invest in it again.

On 1/14/15; Bit coin has crashed from 223 to around 168 usd$; at around 600pm est...>>Some say confiscated Bitcoins are being sold; but in past forced sales have seemed to have not caused significant price dips; some say China investors are selling; some say it just is a crash of worthless fake money substitute...I am still bullish, but catching a falling knife is not usually a wise move..>>I felt Bitcoin would hold at about 240 $USD; and trying to figure out resistance points just depend on how you view this amazing entity...

So, good luck; I hope it goes lower; and I still will have approximately 20-30 % of long term investments in Bitcoin. still feel inevitable to go to USD$ 1500 or more, but hey..wtf do I know...gl..

    great post

According to Coindesk's Bitcoin Price Index, the number one cryptocurrency fell below $7,000 at 11:25 UTC this morning and hit an eight-day low of$6,793. A minor bid wave seen during the Asian session today quickly ran out of steam above $7,300.

It is very interesting to watch the Bitcoin price charts indeed! I would like to try investing soon too. I have found some interesting ICO campaigns on http://iconica.io and I am thinking about one of them for me. Have you guys tried it? I think it is really promising these days...
