I think Adam Silver spoke to the officials and instructed them to keep the game close. The NBA was embarrassed by the Sixers performance and have to show the team is still trying.

I have never seen the amount of blowouts that I am seeing this year before.
Seems like every night somebody loses by 40 points.

Right now New Orleans is beating beating the Twolves 80 to 44 at halftime.
Seems like every night there is a game like that.

Last night it was Philly getting killed.

The night before that Portland had 84 at HT against Denver.
