traveling to nassau over nye my verizon does not have service without roaming charges

does anyone have any other suggestions?????

you could try magicjack, i have a friend who uses that when he goes there, says it works great

Call Verizon and change your plan for the time you are there. We did this when we were in Bahama's and Jamaica. Think it ended up costing about $50 or so

this, i guess you do have a smart phone, all you need to do es download the app and get it going.
