I'm talking about the best Running Back in the Draftm when you need to draft one, what round do you consider taking him?

edit. I mean as a NFL GM, not fantasy

Really depends on the team. If I'm the Seahawks, Texans, Chiefs or Jets I would take a baller running back early. If I'm the rest of the spread teams would not even consider an RB.

yeah a lot of factors but if i could trade down to late 1st or early 2nd

don't think many top 15 type backs out their no first rounders last 2 years

but Gordon and Gurley next year don't think they slide to far

In today's NFL I don't think I could take a RB until the 3rd.... and he should be special... I think I'm going 4th and later on most guys

If there a special talent 1st. I would consider drafting Melving Gordon in the top 10.
