So I have been booking heavy action locally only for the least 7-8 years.

Because my bankroll has expanded, I decided to try to expand the operation... Offering credit to more people online who pass a background check. I love the industry and feel like it's always what I was meant to do.

With the expansion came an over abundance of scumbags. I've taken a huge hit over the last 2 months because of paying out people who turned out to be stiffs and people just not paying to begin with.

So I want some feedback from the forum crowd...because I do want to continue this but without the stress of people paying out.

As fellow players.. What do you think is the best business model?
Should I ditch the credit side?
offer 200% bonuses on deposits?

what payment methods are best to use in this situation?

i am located in Antigua, though I spend a lot of time elsewhere.


basically, i am looking for advice on what would make this operation the most successfulwhile keeping things perfext for the loyal players.

Find it pretty funny that you would register with that name, But i will have to think about letting you keep it. It's like a walking Ad.

Anyway, to answer a few of your questions or give you my opinion, since I've been there before...

you're going from taking local action to running a full Shop, but you expand more... but you are getting players from Online ?? meaning Forums ?
There's your mistake right there.

what makes you think because you are doing back round checks that something like that works ? maybe you should do a google search on creditwagering.com and see how good they did with checking back rounds.

You either build your client list from the Streets with meeting face to to face, or you keep it small.

If you want to start a Post up shop, where you get the money up front and give out Bonuses, Good Luck with that.
Because in this day and age of moving money will be a problem. People that have been in the business for years have problems, and is ever changing.

unless of course the place in Antigua that you are using will take care of that end of the business ....

and since you are probably using a PPH shop, there are a few things that they Won't do for you.

Your best Bet is that you stay Local and use the PPH shop to take your players action. Then you collect or pay in person.
If you have any Good, Solid out of state players, then that's fine. Anyone New, have them put up money up front. They want $1,000 credit per week, have them put up half. If they lose and don't pay by Monday, cut them off until they pay.

I have a friend who lives in Florida and has a local guy in NY that will collect & Pay. He has anyone out of state put up either half or all of the credit line until there are a few pays and collects.

As far as payment options, well like i said. you wouldn't worry much if you keep it Local.
Only Good option are Money Orders. Have them take a photo of the MO's and let them Mail it by PRIORITY MAIL ( comes with Delivery Confirmation )
takes 2-4 days anywhere in the US. if they bitch about the $5.65 it cost, tell them you will pay it.
Any Bigger guys, Use Express mail... $18.95 ( I think ) and you pay. But at least you will get it in one day.
