That's what Antonio Gates said about his QB. But now the head coach, Mike McCoy, denies that it is serious. Apparently, this injury is 3-4 weeks old and has never been reported to the injury list the NFL requires each week. Could we see fines in the future for the Chargers for not reporting a player injury?

If you look at the replays of the game, you can see Rivers winching in pain when he got sacked twice! Maybe the Rams are the play this week! I know I bet them already!

I'm sure it is serious but there is no reason to let teams know that.

Mostly a pain tolerance issue for players and someone like Rivers usually plays through it

I can't stand Rivers, and love to see him whine, but the guy is one of the toughest SOB's in the NFL. He plays through everything.
