Love the Parlay Wager!--At least this year

I realize this wager is made for squares like me but if it were not for three of these winning wagers (5 teamers) mostly on college football totals, it would have made a barely profitable college football betting season a miserable losing one. First year that this type of wager has bailed me out in college football. It usually costs me money! Kind of addictive when you hit these plays. My goal is winning a ten teamer once now! LOL

For those that play parlay wagers, what is the biggest parlay you have hit?

6 teamer in soccer.

I suck at betting american sports.

2006 opening week MNF of NFL 4 team $100 parlay that got me $1550

i rememeber it was Vikings +4
SD Chargers -3
Wash MLB
Twins

The funny thing is I called it in as a 3 team parlay and the girl repeated the teams back to me and added Twins. I just agreed with her because I thought it was likely for them to win also. She said perfect. And it was.

Im sure people won way more than me. But I've hit quite a few $100 4 teamers.

I've missed a lot of those by one pick dude, it sucks!

Soccer is easier to handicap in general IMO. What I did was a crossover, I had a list of A plays, B plays, C plays and D plays.

I bet A plays and B plays strong straight up and then just made combinations of A, B, C and D for parlays.

I was a winner in soccer but a terrible loser on NFL and NCAA, NBA was close to even I guess. I don't bet on sports anymore other than my occasional for fun parlay ($2-$20) on my poker site (888). They allow 12 teamers so I just bet a combo of $2 parlays to keep me in action on weekends but nothing serious that will hurt my poker roll in the long run.

Gets the blood pumping when your down to the last game of a winning parlay for sure.

i can't tell you how many parlays I've missed losing just 1 game. Over $50k worth easy.

Followed it religiously for a lot of years now I watch maybe 2-3 games a week.

I do like to look at all scores and general news (market, injuries, rumors). I don't have the updated knowledge I should if I want to bet it for real right now but that could be fixed in 2 weeks of study.

Greatest sport ever you said it!!!!

I played as a goalkeeper most of my kid days, moved to central defender in high school and forward as a senior.

I'd like to play it more often to be honest, last time was prolly 4 years ago!

I hear ya. I started out playing Goalkeeper. Moved to right HB over most my years and over to left wing in HS. It's impossible to play indoor and smoke cigs so unfortunately that has been what has stopped me playing more.

He well you know I party like a motherfucker so the fear of a stroke near half time is not that unfounded.

I started to run 3 weeks ago but have not for a week now. Guess what I've been doing :toast:

Man I can tell you is one of the sickest rushes there are intensity wise and I've done all kinds of psycho actives!

I remember once I had doubled my roll on saturday and on sunday had lots of winners with a big 6 teamer for $20 or so that paid some crazy shit like $1200 (with some moneyline dogs).

Last game was Chelsea against Liverpool. Injury time and penalty for Chelsea, game is tied 2-2. Didier Drogba kicked the penalty and literally killed a fucking bald eagle it went soooo wide!

Of course I had Chelsea's ML. I still hate Drogba.
