It looks like it’s that time of the year folks, if you are feeling it in your heart to help out some of the less fortunate children of Costa Rica we will be collecting formula, diapers, clothes and toys for a couple local orphanages/shelters. Used baby and children's clothing is acceptable if it is in good condition. We are also going to once again try to build a playground for one of the shelters if we are able to get the amount of support needed.
We will be targeting two PANI shelters in particular, one is Atenas and the other is Grecia. The one in Atenas is a shelter for children who have been taken from abusive families and the one in Grecia is for children that are considered “unadoptable”. Also depending on the amount of support that comes in there is a school desperately in need of musical instruments that we really want to help but all depends on resources.
If you want to help but aren’t in a position to drop off the donation yourself I’m sure some sort of easy payment method can be arranged and I will personally go and buy the items that you would like to pledge. Current diaper and formula brands and prices will be posted soon if you prefer to donate the actual items rather than the cash.
Many of you have helped in the past years and for that I cant begin to thank you enough and the Rx has always been very supportive of our cause. If you got a little extra to give don’t be shy because a little goes a long ways in the lives of these kids.
