the old top amateur vs weak pros post.

Time and time again if the pros are interested the game would be a blowout for pros.

Just cus pros may suck vs better pros, they would still crust college players.

I always prefer the good college football team against the weak pro NFL team. Those are fun. As good as Bama has been in the last 5 years, they may have 10 NFL starters currently over that period......Most of Kentucky's players will be role NBA players at best and 2nd round picks like Poythress, the Harrisons, Lee, Cauley Stein

But the Sixers roster is made up of a lot of players who can't even cut it as role players in the NBA. The Kentucky team is certainly more talented. The majority of the Sixers aren't even first round picks, most of Kentuckys team will be. Right now I'd still take the Sixers because even NBA scrubs with three years experience on average are much more polished the freshman and sophomore college players. But make no mistake the Kentucky team has much more talent. You take the individuals on Kentuckys team in three years they are way better then the Sixers current roster in three years.

My answer is.... WHO CARES!

But... consider this..... the Pacers are winning games right now with nobody in the lineup that anyone ever heard of. Could any of these Pacer players even start for Kentucky? Two different sports really. (Reminder..... it is so much more possible to "travel" in the NCAA!)

I think there are more 2nd round picks on UK roster than 1st round.

Sixers would lose 20 out of 20 if the games counted for their rankings this season

I think the Saints can easily fall on 7 wins - this is their last tough game - of course they can't win on the road though

Sixers making a big run tonight. They are within 2 of Nets with about 4 minutes. Big game out of MCW of Sixers. He is 1-9 from the field.

As good as people think Kentucky is, or any collegiate team, it's still tough for any top college player to actually make it long-term in the NBA.

The 76ers may stink right now, but they have a squad full of PROFESSIONALS.

The guys on Kentucky's team have yet to prove anything other than beating other college kids...

Sixers came through again. I'm still living the impossible dream 27 straight losses. I believe that record will never be broken. Even though the Sixers and Cavs hold the 26 straight losses record I think if the Sixers can get to 27 it will stand. I think after this season broad changes will be made by Adam Silver. He is not going to let a team dump all their players to get bad again. He is clearly upset and embarrassed what the Sixers are doing. I think he can suspend trades for the good of the league. You can't have a team do this two years in a row.
