KEY STAT: Man City have scored 13 away league goals this season

EXPERT VERDICT: Remarkable as Southampton’s assent to second place in the Premier League has been, this clash with the defending champions could give Ronald Koeman a reality check. Manchester City, boosted by the late win over Bayern Munich on Tuesday, can build on that with red-hot Sergio Aguero the man set to be the difference.

RECOMMENDATION: Man City

KEY STAT: Tottenham have not lost to Everton in their last six meetings at White Hart Lane

EXPERT VERDICT: These two teams’ seasons have gone in opposite directions. Tottenham have largely stuttered after a decent start, while Everton have picked up after winning only one of their first seven Premier League matches and will be hopeful of grabbing at least a point. In what looks sure to be a close encounter the draw is the best bet.

RECOMMENDATION: Draw

KEY STAT: Atletico have won nine of their ten home games this season

EXPERT VERDICT: Gabi is suspended but Atletico should still get favourite backers off to a flyer in the early La Liga contest against lowly Deportivo. The Calderon has been a cauldron for Atletico in recent times and their clean-sheet mentality has returned with the champions winning five of their last seven home matches to nil.

RECOMMENDATION: Atletico to win 3-0

KEY STAT: Michiel Kramer has scored nine goals in 13 games

EXPERT VERDICT: Eredivisie champions Ajax must negotiate a tricky trip to Den Haag, who have won their last two at home. Ajax have kept only one clean sheet in six away league games and Den Haag striker Michiel Kramer, with six goals in his last five home games, can take advantage.

RECOMMENDATION: M Kramer first goalscorer

KEY STAT: Rangers have conceded in eight of their last 11 home matches

EXPERT VERDICT: Last week's defeat to Hearts left the Gers nine points off the pace in the Championship and they could appreciate a cup match to give them a different distraction. It will only the second time they have face Premiership opposition this term – they beat St Johnstone 1-0 in the League Cup – and despite Killie losing their last four league games, it could prove a tight affair.

RECOMMENDATION: Draw

KEY STAT: Lille are Ligue 1’s lowest scorers with nine goals scored in 13 games

EXPERT VERDICT: Lille return from a domestic weekend off looking to arrest a decline which has seen them fail to win in five in the league. The goals have dried up for Divock Origi and they head south-west minus the suspended Sebastien Corchia and Franck Beria. Bordeaux, five minutes away from holding Marseille last time out, should be too strong.

RECOMMENDATION: Bordeaux

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs
(NFL) - Nov 30, 2014 8:30 PM EST

Play: Point Spread: -1.5/-102 Denver Broncos Pick Title: Denver vs KC
The Broncos have looked vulnerable the past few weeks. Something seems to be off from last years Super Bowl team. It isn't the defense, as it has played very well for the most part (3.4 ypc 5.8 ypa 37% 3rd down). They have had some injuries in recent weeks which have hurt this team. KC comes home off a tough loss at Oakland. Many had this team as a potential bust this year. But head coach Andy Reid has this team playing well, especially on 3rd down. In fact, both teams are stellar on 3rd down. The one achilles heel for the Chiefs is the rush defense (5.0 ypc). We'll look for the Broncos to pull out a close one on the road as they are the better team in the redzone and I don't believe the Chiefs can hit enough plays in the passing game to beat the Broncos

New England Patriots vs. Green Bay Packers (NFL) - Nov 30, 2014 4:25 PM EST
Play: Point Spread: -3.0/-118 Green Bay Packers Play Title: FREE ACTION
New England in this potential Super Bowl matchup. Brady and cmpany have been showing their muscle to the league, with their ability to score points as well as getting turnovers. Although Devin McCourty has had some issues with covering the deep ball. Green Bay and their perennial leader, Aaron Rodgers has been incredible, hitting 11 TD passes and 0 picks over last 3 games. At home, they have been putting up massive points a game, which has been almost impossible to stop. Rodgers has always, and is consistently going through multiple reads the defense tries to confuse him, and he is always making sure to keep his eyes active, looking downfield. Which is where the Pats will get beat, with Jordy Nelson and his explosiveness. New England is 5-10-1 ATS in its last 16 games on the road and the Packers have so many options on offense and extremely good at home. I expect it to be close for a while but the Packers to win by 7-13 points here at Lambeau Field

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons (NFL) - Nov 30, 2014 4:05 PM EST
Play: Point Spread: -1.5/-105 Arizona Cardinals Play Title: Joe D'Amico's NFL FREE WINNER
As of print, I am on a 67-37 overall football run up 30 units. Sunday I continue to roll with my best NFL card ever. Be on my AFC GAME OF THE MONTH, 75% MVP, 66% TOUCHDOWN, PATS/PACKERS WINNER, and my 92% ANGLE plays. I WILL HAVE A PERFECT 6-0 DAY!$!$!$ Play Arizona (Game 469). Arizona remains on top of the NFC West and owns the NFC's best overall record at 9–2. Atlanta, despite a 4–7 mark is tied for the NFC South lead. Drew Stanton got off track last week but didn't have WR, Larry Fitzgerald, who is expected to return here. The Cardinals defense ranks #2 in the League, allowing just 17.7 PPG. The Cards stop-unit will get to pocket-passer, Matt Ryan and create turnovers. Neither team is known for their running game but Atlanta ranks dead- last in the NFL against the pass. Stanton loves to throw the pigskin. The Cardinals are 16-5 ATS their L21 games played vs. teams with a losing record, 16-5 ATS their L21 vs. the NFC, and 20-8 ATS their L28 overall games. The Falcons are 1-4 ATS their L5 games played following an ATS loss, 2-5 ATS their L7 games played in November, and 2-6 ATS their L8 overall games. Take Arizona. Thank you.

New York Giants vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL) - Nov 30, 2014 1:00 PM EST
Play: Point Spread: -3.0/-105 New York Giants Play Title: Stephen Nover Free Sunday NFL Play
Sure it's been a hugely disappointing season for the Giants. But let's not get carried away. The Giants still are at least a level higher than the Jaguars. Eli Manning versus Blake Bortles is a mismatch. Bortles has been a turnover machine and is getting worse the more he plays with his confidence shot. The Jaguars did not do him a favor by rushing him into the lineup. Bortles has become Geno Smith South with 15 interceptions while being sacked 27 times in nine games. Manning has his best running back, Rashad Jennings, back plus Odell Beckham Jr. is developing into a star with 31 catches for 503 yards during his last four games. The Giants' record is so poor because they have played a murderous schedule. This is their first easy opponent in eight weeks. Jacksonville's record is so poor because they are legitimately horrible. This likely is Tom Coughlin's final season as Giants head coach. Coughlin still has enough pride to keep his team from suffering an embarrassing loss to this bad of a team. (Editor's note: In addition to this free selection, long-time pro and NFL guru Stephen Nover has his Sunday Night Game of the Year going between the Broncos and Chiefs.)

Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills (NFL) - Nov 30, 2014 1:00 PM EST
Play: Point Spread: -3.0/-120 Buffalo Bills Play Title: Free Pick on Buffalo Bills -
I know Buffalo is at a bit of a disadvantage having one less day to prepare after playing on Monday instead of Sunday, but I think they are showing some great value as a small home favorite. Buffalo is one of the more underrated teams in the NFL and have a bigger homefield advantage than they get credit for, especially late in the year when the weather turns bad. The Bills are 24-11 ATS at home in weeks 10 through 13 since 1992 and I know the Browns keep winning, but I’m just not sold on this team. Cleveland has taken advantage of a very easy schedule this season. All five of the Browns wins outside their division have come against teams with losing records. They also haven’t been nearly as impressive on the road as they have at home. Their 6-24 loss to the Jaguars is evident of that. One of the big reasons that I like Buffalo in this one is they should have the edge up front on both sides of the ball. The Bills come in 8th in the NFL against the run (98.4 ypg) and lead the league by a wide margin with 46 sacks (next best 38). They are also 5th against the pass (213.8 ypg). That combination of being able to stop the run and get after the quarterback, really puts a lot of pressure on Brian Hoyer. While Hoyer has played well in 2014, he’s been careless with the ball of late. After throwing just 2 interceptions in his first 7 games, he’s thrown 6 in his last 4 games. On the other side of the ball, Cleveland has been getting pushed around up front all season. The Browns come in ranked 29th against the run (134.9 ypg) and are in the bottom half of the league with just 23 sacks. It’s also worth noting that Cleveland is not at full strength on defense right now. Starting free safety Tashaun Gipson is out indefinitely and star inside linebacker Karlos Dansby is questionable after missing last week’s game against Atlanta. Adding to all of this is a great system in play backing a fade of the Browns. Road teams off an upset win as an underdog who have a winning record playing an opponent with a winning record are 66-112 ATS since 1983. That's a 63% long-term system in favor of the Bills. Take Buffalo!

NHL Grand Salami - November

The Grand Salami in pro hockey is decided by adding up all the goals scored in every game scheduled for that particular day. You can wager on 'over' or 'under' the Grand Salami total. The total is set by adding up all listed 'over/under' odds for each game on that particular day.

Note: The Grand Salami will have no action if any game is suspended or cancelled before the regulation time of three twenty minute periods. Also, regardless of the number of goals scored during the shoot out portion of the overtime, the final scored recorded for the game will give the winning team on more goal than its opponent based on the score at the end of regulation time.

*The majority of sportsbooks do not put out a total on the Grand Salami when there is only one game on the card. For tracking purposes, we will continue to show the 'over/under' for goals and combined goals scored on days with just one game.

Brodeur skates with Blues

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Martin Brodeur felt very comfortable skating onto the ice in his new St. Louis Blues equipment.

After 21 years playing for the New Jersey Devils, St. Louis was at the top of his list when he became a free agent after last season.

''I think for me, looking at teams, it was the most similar what I'm used to, what I've played throughout my career in New Jersey,'' Brodeur said Friday. ''It just happened a couple days ago. I'm definitely looking forward to this challenge and see where that's going to bring us.''

Brodeur wasn't ready to call it a career at 42 after the Devils chose not to re-sign him. But he didn't get any offers until Blues general manager Doug Armstrong called Brodeur's agent on Tuesday after goalie Brian Elliott sustained a lower-body injury in the Blues' 3-2 shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators. Elliott is on injured-reserve and is week to week.

Brodeur, who leads the NHL in wins (688), games played (1,259), losses (394) and shutouts (124), took part in the morning skate Friday with the Blues, who will face the Edmonton Oilers.

''It was good. It was fun to get back out there for sure,'' Brodeur said. ''It's been a while. It was a good tempo for me. I know it's only a morning skate ... can't wait to see Monday.

Armstrong made it clear there are no guarantees for the future Hall of Famer, though.

''He's going to practice with us for the better part of a week and then I would say we'll make a determination,'' Armstrong said. ''He'll find out where he's at and we'll have a chance to work with him and make a decision on whether we'll move forward with a contract or not.

''(Brodeur) wants to play, and he's kept himself in good conditioning,'' Armstrong said. ''He's been skating in New Jersey.''

Brodeur has been skating with Scott Gomez, a former teammate looking for work. He's coming off a season in which he was 19-14-6 with a 2.51 goals-against average and .901 save percentage, low numbers by his career marks of 2.24 GAA and .912 save percentage.

''It was a tough year last year for me,'' Brodeur said. ''I felt really good playing the games but didn't get really the chance to play the way I'm used to playing in New Jersey and rightfully so with Cory Schneider being there. They needed to put him in some games and lock him into a long-term contract. For me, it was important to get out of the way.''

Brodeur should feel comfortable playing for coach Ken Hitchcock. They spent three Winter Olympics and the 2004 World Cup of Hockey together.

''He looks good,'' Hitchcock said. ''We'll get a better test on Monday and Tuesday when we put him in a full practice. ... We'll see how he feels physically after we put him through the grind that you get in game-like situations.''

If the Blues offer Brodeur a contract, he won't just be a mentor for young goalies Jake Allen, who will be the starter for the immediate future, and Jordan Binnington, who was recalled from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

''I don't need to lean on him,'' Hitchcock said of Brodeur. ''I just need to play him. If he says I'm good to go, and we need games ... (Elliott) is going to be out, and if he says I can play, I'm putting him in ... bottom line.''

NHL roundup: Sens' Ryan out with fractured finger
By THE SPORTS XCHANGE

Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan missed Saturday night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning because of a fractured finger.

There is no timetable on how long Ryan will be out.

Ryan was injured during the Senators 3-2 loss to the Florida Panthers on Friday night. Ryan has five goals and eight assists in 21 games this season.

---The St. Louis Blues placed defenseman Jay Bouwmeester on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

Bouwmeester has two points and eight penalty minutes in 20 games this season.

The Blues also recalled defenseman Petteri Lindbohm from the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.

---New York Rangers forward Tanner Glass is being isolated from the team until Monday because he has the mumps.

Glass missed Friday's game and Saturday's contest against the Philadelphia Flyers as well.

The Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks have also been affected by the mumps disease this season with multiple players having missed games.

Also, forward Chris Kreider left the team to be with his family following the death of his grandfather. Forward J.T. Miller was recalled from the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL on Friday to replace him.

---The NHL fined Montreal Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin $11,021.51 for an illegal check to the head of Buffalo Sabres forward Brian Gionta. The incident occurred during Friday night's game.

Emelin was assessed a minor penalty for an illegal check to the head at 18:06 of the third period.

---The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled center Michael Chaput and left winger Kerby Rychel from Springfield of the AHL.

Columbus also assigned center Alexander Wennberg to Springfield.

---The Washington Capitals recalled defenseman Steven Oleksy from Hershey of the AHL.

Oleksy, 28, has three goals and three assists with 39 penalty minutes in 19 games with Hershey this season.

---The Minnesota Wild recalled defensemen Justin Falk from Iowa of the AHL and assigned defenseman Matt Dumba to Iowa.

---The Boston Bruins recalled Zach Trotman from Providence of the AHL on an emergency basis.

Trotman joined the team for Saturday's practice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass.

---The Buffalo Sabres recalled forward Tim Schaller from Rochester of the AHL.

Schaller joins the Sabres for his first career recall since he signed an entry-level NHL contract in April 2013 as an undrafted free agent.

---The Dallas Stars reassigned left winger Curtis McKenzie to the Texas Stars of the AHL.

McKenzie, 23, has appeared in nine games for Dallas this season, scoring his first-career NHL goal on Nov. 16.

NBA Preview: Raptors (13-3) at Lakers (3-13)

Date: November 30, 2014 9:30 PM EDT

The Toronto Raptors have yet to decide how they will replace injured leading scorer DeMar DeRozan in their lineup.

His absence may not make too much of a difference in his first game out since they are facing the woeful Los Angeles Lakers.

The Raptors have won three times in 17 road games in this series but figure to be favored Sunday night as they try to hand the Western Conference's worst team a fifth straight defeat.

DeRozan, averaging 19.4 points, left in the third quarter of Friday's 106-102 home loss to Dallas. One day later, the team learned that he will be out an indefinite period with a torn tendon in his left groin.

Coach Dwane Casey did not say how he will adjust his lineup, and the Raptors (13-3) know they need others to help fill the void left by DeRozan.

"The thing about our team is that we have guys that can step up and they're definitely going to have to," forward Amir Johnson said.

Johnson and DeRozan are both natives of the Los Angeles area who no doubt would be relishing this trip home to showcase why Toronto (13-3) is the East's best team. Only one will be on the court.

"I feel sorry for the young man 'cause he's a helluva basketball player," Lakers coach Byron Scott said. "I know he's an L.A. kid as well."

Casey may have to give more playing time to reserve forward James Johnson, averaging 6.3 points and 18.3 minutes.

"James is going to have a tough task because he's learning the 3 and the 4 offensively so he's in a tough position in a sense because now we're going to need that extra body at the 3 with DeMar out," Casey said.

Scott doesn't see the Raptors as being too weakened. DeRozan is one of five players averaging at least 10 points for a club scoring an East-leading 107.6 points.

"They're still very athletic, very young," Scott said. "They get after you pretty good. Terrence Ross is a good player, so it'll probably put a little bit more on his plate and the same thing with Kyle Lowry and those guys."

The coach was angry after Friday's 120-119 home defeat to Minnesota. Los Angeles (3-13) yielded 39 third-quarter points, and is allowing league worsts of 29.8 points in that period and 111.4 overall.

"It's really been our third quarters that's been killing us," Scott said. "So obviously we're not coming out of the locker room ready to play to start the third quarter and we gotta change that."

The offense continues to revolve around Kobe Bryant, who easily leads the league by averaging 23.1 shots for the NBA's highest scoring average - 26.4.

Bryant's memorable career-best, 81-point performance came on a Sunday night at home against Toronto in a 122-104 win Jan. 22, 2006. He made 28 of 46 shots that night but is a far less efficient player now in the twilight of his career.

Bryant is shooting a career-worst 38.8 percent. Ironically, one of the few other players in the top 50 in scoring below 40 percent is DeRozan (39.4).

The Lakers superstar's 27.6 scoring average against the Raptors is his best against any East foe.
