Going to Vegas in February or March. Recommendations

Guys,

I may be going golfing in Vegas Feb or March with some buddies. It has been 4 years since I have been. I used to get my rooms comped at Luxor or Mandalay Bay. I actually had a casino host there, Jung Ming Chu. Not sure if he is still there. Heard that comps have gotten tougher. I mostly play blackjack a couple of hours at a time, maybe at an avg of $50 hand or so. I probably will get down on some action (no pun intended) in the sportsbook on some college basketball.

Any recommendations or connections for a casino host? Thanks guys

well a bunch of us go out in march for the march madness tournament so if your dates are around then you probably can hang with some of us.i really don't know anyone in the two casino's that you mentioned.i stay at the orleans and they take care of me pretty good.i don't watch the games there unless they are in the ballroom upstairs which they are for the tournament.

i also stay at the westgate(lvh) which i will be staying there for two days during that time out there.the other casino-hotel we spend time at is the south point which is a good place to take in the action.since you have not been there for 4 years you may have to start from scratch with another host wherever you decide to stay.all you need to do when you get there is ask for a host and then give him the details of what you will be doing,but let me warn you it has changed a lot as far as getting comps out there,as they all go by the play on your players card.they don't really give you much these days,you have to earn it but if you been there before then you know what to do.

might want to look into the cosmopolitan...good atmosphere...bj is ok at those limits....can be crappy below (and sometimes at $25 min) comps are better than most others in my experience

rooms are nice, restaurants very good

book (cantor) is small

i'll be there sat and sunday night this weekend warming it up for you!
