Injuries are apart of the game, but this one might be a dagger to the ducks. Without ifo to lock down Greene Florida state will undoubtedly tear oregon apart thru the air. The ducks have a little depth in the secondary but the severity of this blow is unparalleled. As a die hard oregon fan im at a loss for words... I thought oregon had the better chance to win, now im not sure they do. One guy doesn't make the team, but the defense wasn't Oregons strength and never has been...ironically they had been playing better and better every week for the last 5 weeks..... Now who knows how they will scheme their defense... Likely replacements are 5'9" senior Dior Mathis who is typically a nickleback and redshirt freshman 6'1" Chris seisay... Seisay is suppossed to be vry talented but is young and has already allowed two blown coverages for tds against UCLA late in the 4th quarter in mop up duty... No word yet as to who the ducks will replace olomu with just yet....

About par for the course... This team will have to dig deep defensively in order to overcome the loss of a two time all American and 3 time conference first team selection.... Crossing my fingers the offense hangs 72 pts the next two games....

These long lay-offs (last game of the regular season till the New Year Bowl game) become the witching days. I lot of weird stuff happens with 19 $ 20 year-olds on the loose not to mention making-up for lost-time with the sweeties.....we all know how that plays out.

Yes, it's just a pattern of brutal injuries to the program over the years in the most important of times... Never ceases to amaze me how may key players the ducks have lost to injury over the years during the most meaningful games .... Makes me cringe every year... As an oregon fan you just know a key player os going down to an injury at some part of the season, usually in the last few weeks.... Déjà vu all over again.... Year after year after year after year lol... God bless it!!!

I think if people really like FSU they should just bet them on the ML. This looks like an all or nothing game to me. If it's a shootout Oregon will win and cover. If it's a slugfest FSU will probably win SU because Oregon never can seem to win these types of games. This is a tough game to cap. On paper Oregon should cover. But I've always been a little leery of betting against teams with more talent getting points. Ala Ohio State last week vs Wisky.
